My wife and I were in the final stage of buying a pool home on a canal In Plantation It was going to be a costly purchase and we wanted to be confident there were no major issues before closing We hired Younique Pools to perform a separate inspection on the swimming pool because it was not covered in the main home inspection, just to be extra sure
We called Younique Pools, a seemingly reputable company, who assured us they'd let us know of any potential danger They came to the house for the inspection and sent us a Report which said all the pool systems were in good working condition and that no leaks were found There was nothing negative and nothing indicating any minor or major problems or that anything was impending We closed on the house a few days later
We noticed over time the water level in the pool was going down at a slow pace and we were having to fill it semi-frequently It got worse so we called in an expert to take a look We were shocked to find out the 30,gallon pool Younique told us was in good shape had a major beam crack which went around half of the entire pool along the coping and that the pool would need to be completely renovated! We got a second opinion and were told the same thing Both company's quotes were similar and we paid one of them around $11,for the work We were told there was no possible way THAT much severe damage had occurred just recently and that whoever did the inspection should have done testing and also have seen several obvious signs that this humongous crack was present when the pool inspection was done
We felt we'd done everything in our power to protect ourselves before purchasing the house We feel strongly that Younique Pools did not do what we specifically hired them for and that it cost us in a big way financially Had we been made aware of the problem before closing, we could have saved ourselves a lot of money We contacted Younique's Owner before the renovation started and he denied having any responsibility or liability He refused to even come look at the pool and also hung up the phone on me Based upon how unprofessional and uncooperative they were, we decided to file legal action, which Younique is fighting all the way
People should know that this was, and still is, my experience with Younique Pools and that I would not recommend them to anyone
Very positive experience. He painted a full bathroom including ceiling as well as our bedroom. The bathroom walls were pretty rough to begin with, but Mike smoothed it out & it looks great. We plan on having him paint more as we renovate the house.
Upon meeting with [redacted] [redacted], we felt comfortable enough to leave our keys with [redacted] to completely paint a condo we just purchased. [redacted] is a professional and you can count on a quality job. We had traveled to the Carolinas for 6 weeks and came back to a "new home." He and Sam went above and beyond by moving furniture and art work; they truly operate a good business and you will be well served if you are looking for a top quality paint job.
I was extremely pleased with the painting and drywall repair work that [redacted] performed in my two story family room and sun room, along with touch ups in several other areas. He has a thorough attention to detail (including ensuring that my furniture and rugs were completely protected), maintaining a safe working area, and cleaning of the area once he was completed. The overall results and experience exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend him.
