Review: Purchased 2 pressure treated posts (6 ×6) for support of a patio roof. After installation, my customer called to tell me one of the posts had developed a serious split to the point that he was afraid to allow his children and pets to walk under it. I went the following day and indeed it was split severely. I called YBC where I purchased this and they told me they would send one over and to send the other back. I informed them that it was supporting a roof and couldnt just return the old one. Drove to the business with pictures and after showing them around someone decided to "give me" a new post. At that point, I wrote out an invoice for my time involved. It included taking it to my shop, notching it for the LVL beam it was supporting, putting a nice routed edge on the corners, attaching it to the LVLs, attaching it to the metal bracket that was attached to the concrete, then doing the whole process with the new one including jacking up and supporting the roof to swap them out. It was for 200 dollars. Plus I drove to get it.

A month later, I called for an update and the store manager, skippy yost, told me he knew nothing of it, so I informed him AND sent him pictures. 5 days later, after hearing nothing, I emailed him for the name of his boss and the supplier because he had told me that he would have to go back to them for reimbursement. He gave me attitude and told me some bs story about honey and vinegar and that it was now out of his hands since I had asked for those names and acted like I was crazy for expecting some kind of answer in 5 days when he hadnt even acknowledged that he got my pictures. told him that I didnt buy it from his supplier, I bought it from ybc, and it was their responsibility to make it right with me since I had made it right with my customer. I have sent subsequent emails threatening legal action and they have been completely ignored.Desired Settlement: I DO NOT WANT STORE CREDIT.! I want my money back for the time and effort I spent making this right. I think 300 should be sufficient for the aggravation. They have ignored me, swept it under the carpet, lost my initial invoice conveniently for a month.

I do not want store credit. I dont ever intend to buy anything there again. I am going to the c of c, the rip off report, craigslist, everywhere and anywhere I can until these self righteous people make this right!
