My experience with this dealership was an example of why people hate car shopping At first, I enjoyed the low-key approach of the salesmen, but when that extended to lack of service, my enjoyment waned When they quoted me "cash" prices that were hundreds of dollars over *** *** *** values, I was surprised When they refused to budge on price and tried to argue that rust on the body, missing pieces of equipment and ruined upholstery were to be expected in a used car and had no affect on the value, I walked out

When the car was towed he was told that we needed to have the car diagnosed by one of our mechanics first before the car could be fixed & would take some time for us to get it all taken care off. after 2 weeks the car was fixed & the new tire was placed Mr. [redacted] was told he can pick the car up, in which he was upset stating that we told him that the car would be the towed back to his drive way which was never agreed too. In conclusion the vehicle was fix & all the customers demands were met by My Choice Motors.

I will like to state the following about the repairs stated:Heating System: there was never an issue with the heating system, I don't see how a repair could've been madeExhaust System: I paid additional money for the exhaust system to be repaired so that was a paid jobBattery: The battery that was installed was defective and needed to be replaced, I have the receipt to prove that a new one was boughtNone of that matters now. To whomever is going to read this I have just one more request. Please ensure that my paperwork is properly completed and handled.its been around 30 days and I still have no plates or the title.  I'm sure that can be handled without spending any additional money

Please be advised that on 10/16/2015, Mr. [redacted] came to our dealership to purchase a used car. Mr. [redacted] requested to test drive a 2004 [redacted], after which time of test driving, Mr. [redacted] placed a down payment on said vehicle in the sum of $1000 being the first of three payments. Upon...

placing the required down payment for said vehicle, Mr. [redacted] levied several requests to which he needed completed before fully paying for the vehicle. All request were completed which included: Fixing heat, exhaust system, and installing a new battery. Mr. [redacted] later came into our approximately two weeks later to make another payment on the vehicle, at which time Mr. [redacted] had another opportunity to drive and check the vehicle for any further issues, but no issues were recorded. Finally, Mr. [redacted] came in one last time to make the final of three payments on 11/20/2015 and performed a final check to ensure that everything was in good working order before leaving. We never told Mr. [redacted] that he was getting anything other than what Mr. [redacted] purchased. We are offering to reimburse up to $200 to Mr. [redacted] for the issue with the oil pan couple of months after driving away. We thank you for allowing our dealership a chance, to respond to this complaint levied against us. Series [redacted] VIN# [redacted] from My Choice Motors LLC on 03-06-2017. The purchase price for the vehicle was 2649 plus tax plates and documentation fees. The vehicle was sold AS-IS no warranty. The best resolution for this complaint is that My choice motors LLC will cover the cost of labor for the installation of the transmission at the repair facility affiliated with us. And customer is responsible of the payment for the transmission. If she agrees to this resolution then we will coordinate with her getting the transmission and she can take the [redacted] to the shop recommended by My Choice Motors LLC. [redacted] from Your Choice Auto Sales Inc on 07-07-2016. The vehicle was sold AS-IS no warranty. As a customer service we waived the labor charges for installing the transfer case and charged him only for the transfer case which was $1750.00 on his credit card with his authorization. Transfer Case had a warranty up to 100 days on the part. We have spoken to the used part store about the warranty to see if they can still honor it even though it has been more than 100 days.  According to them if the transfer case still has oil and it's not dry they will honor it. I am rejecting this response because: While I appreciate the offer, there is far more than $300 worth of repairs on the car. The car was advertised to have Air Conditioning in the initial posting and when we went over what the vehicle had. The vehicles Air Conditioning does not work and upon look could be up to $300 dollars alone for something that was supposed to come with the car based on the initial listing. The other two issues being the brakes and the exhaust system, which are the two that have been constant problems since purchase and was not disclosed upon purchase in our initial meeting. The brakes we have found we can get done for around $200, but the exhaust we are unsure how much will cost without getting an estimate on it and is our biggest concern. As said previously we were told we were getting a vehicle that would run great and have no problems, but it just seems to not be the case.

dealership located in Joliet, Illinois on August 31, 2016 with her mother, at which time Ms. [redacted] was afforded the opportunity to test drive the vehicle in question thoroughly on the expressway and local streets. When Ms. [redacted] returned she had no complaints about the vehicle, 2006 [redacted] Impala, and proceeded to purchase said vehicle. Two (2) Months later, Ms. [redacted] called to inform our dealership that she was having problems with the transmission. We apologized to Ms. [redacted] and offered to do a split in where the customer pays for the part and the dealership waives the cost of installation.   At this point, the direct cost of purchasing a transmission for that particular vehicle is $800, which will have to be paid by the customer. Furthermore, Ms. [redacted] owed this dealership a balance of $200 that we had given her time to pay at the time of the original purchase.
