I contacted "Your Home Improvement Company, LLC" to get help with windows we had installed in our home years prior by a different company Two of our our windows would not stay up as they should When I spoke with the customer service representative, she was so helpful and accommodating Even though they did not install the windows in our home, they sent the parts we needed to repair the issue ourselves at no cost Then stated, if we could not get the job done, they would send out someone to help us I consider this company SUPERB in customer service! stars from me!

I really liked working with this companyI have had major jobs that I have had to work with contractors on and Your Home Improvement Company LLC was by far the best company I have had to work withThe other two don't hold a candle to themThey came during the time expected on the scheduled day, the work was completed a lot faster than I had expected, the workers were courteous, polite and friendly, and this company was very customer service orientedThey called the day of the installation to see how it was going, all mess was cleaned up by the installers, and they walked through the job with me to make sure I was completely satisfied prior to leavingThe company also followed up after the installation to make sure I was still satisfied with the work and asked if I needed anything further doneI also liked the fact that I received an email from them every week to let me know what the progress was done on making the windows and every step of the process

I've used "Your Home Improvement Company" before to install new windows Overall, kind of pricy and when I experienced some leaking where the caulking cracked, they came out the next day to fix Used another contractor for the next round of windows to replace but they were very difficult to get the work done/completed, so I went back to YHIC for the remaining set Salesman (who was new), was pleasant and understood what we were looking for (price sticker shock after delaying the installation years) Ordered a patio door, scheduled a date to have it installed They kept me updated as to the status of when my patio door would be ready for installation Only the installer didn't show up on the scheduled date The only voice mail message I received was that he would be delayed minutes Several hours later, after I left several messages, I finally got ahold of someone who said the installer talked to me to say he needed to reschedule When I attempted to called back and reschedule a day, they NEVER returned my call!! Finally I got ahold of "customer service" and said I wanted to speak to the owner Well, never spoke to Steve Little, but supposedly the installer will be out tomorrow to install the patio door So, can't say my previous experience has been negative because, they've make a good faith effort to correct the situation (which is why I went back to them) But this current / pending service to get the patio door installed has not been positive either, hence my Neutral rating

Your Home Improvement Company shingled our house in Bismarck, ND in April We were impressed with their total service from the sale, to the measuring, to the installation and the follow up This is our third home and about our 6th shingle job We went with the Atlas roofing system because we were tired of roofing projects that we had to redo because either the materials or the installation or fairly minor hail storms caused our roof to leak This roofing system is guaranteed for years plus a limited lifetime warranty after that Besides it looks great and I love not having all the ugly vents up on our roof
