following up withRevdex.com!I replied to her comment as soon as I saw it on  8/19  as followsHi [redacted], In the past we have allowed a small lap dog on a leash. It was a regular customer and he usually comes in early am. Our staff was told that it is ok to do so with the small dogs. But because of this situation today where there were 2 and one was larger as I have found out we are adopting a new policy- No Dogs Allowed. We understand your concerns and the concerns of others.We are as a business, allowed to have dogs in our store. It is not against any rules or regulations. However, once we get a complaint we address it right away which we have. We do allow service dogs in compliance with ADA.Her comment after that is as followsI am still filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and the small dog wasn’t on a leach and neither was the larger one.So then we received your letterFirst of all I addressed her concern right away. We bend over backwards for all our customers and have never not addressed their issues right away -over and above the rest!!!!  My husband being an owner is there every day and the customers love that he is in talking with them and truly cares about them. Can’t say this is the case with too many( if at all ) laundromats not only in Milwaukee but the whole county. Customer service is our first priority over anything and that is what makes us stand out above the rest!!!Obviously this person has it out for us. We sent her a check back of $15 left on her loyalty card which really is against our policy but wanted to do this in good faith. It was sent to the address you listed under her name. There was no harm done to anyone including her son. We have never had a complaint for dogs in the store and truthfully it hardly ever happens that a dog comes in with the owner. Like I said usually only this one customer. Please keep in mind we have the right to have dogs in our facility on or off leash as any other business has unless there is a sticker or notification posted. At that time we did not have either of the latter. Also we DO NOT have to post that dogs/animals are allowed. She is wrong in thinking businesses have to do this. Hundreds of local businesses allow dogs and do not post. So in REALITY we have done NOTHING WRONG!  The policy we made was an internal  policy we had for our business. Our customers do not have to be informed of our policy regarding this matter. If we chose we could permit all dogs of any size on a leash are permitted.  She only found about our  internal policy because, without talking to our attendant, she did not mention if they were on leashes in her first comment. I only found out after my response to her that they were off leash. But I think you get what I am saying. The only thing that was wrong was our attendant’s decision regarding our internal policy. And this is not a matter of the Revdex.com but between our attendant and our policy. We have not broken any business rules.  We now have a permanent sticker on our door saying no animals allowed but service dogs are permitted for those with disabilities and this sticker is ADA, OSHA and ANSI approved.We have resolved this problem because we don’t want any future issues like this and have notified all our employees in writing about the rules.   Respectfully,[redacted]Owners of Your Laundry, Inc.[redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]First off, the customer is always right. Secondly, I have NEVER seen a male in here talking and greeting customers. It has always been a woman everytime I went. Thirdly, my son has sickle cell and those dogs could have very well been carrying some type of germ that could have gotten him sick easily! Which is why I said something about no sign being posted saying that dogs were allowed and I would have never brought him in this facility. I do NOT have it out for them! Like I said, things have normally been fine here but I absolutely, positively do not approve of animals! I will be looking for my check in the mail and I certainly won't be back here and will be letting my family members know as well to stop going.
