Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/09/22) */
The consumer and Your Mechanic had a verbal agreement to have her Chevy truck worked onThe truck was supposed to be here Tuesday afternoon, it did not arrive until after 1:00a.mthus making the Thursday deadline impossible, which was
communicated to the consumerMrsConsumer originally contacted me on 8/3/which you can see on the invoiceShe had me give her an estimate for much more work than was to be done, so she could take it to her jeweler, and get him to pay for the repairsWhich he did, but only if I could give him an invoice for his Ford Explorer so he could right off the repairs, which I regretfully did and don't have a copy of(the consumer and the jeweler have copies) I agreed to do that for them to try and keep my customer satisfiedOn top of all that MrsConsumer had me take off more work from her truck so that she could pocket $from the jeweler's credit card payment to me of two payments of $All of the time I spent changing invoices and writing estimates and answering aggressive repeated phone calls and text messages all to try and satisfy an un-satisfiable consumer and now more time responding to Revdex.com so I don't have a bad gradeIt adds up to about hours @ $per hour minus the $she thinks I owe her in change she owes me #
As for the work performed the rear brake shoes and drums were replaced the cables that were not hooked up were for her park brake and were not hooked up because they were seized and would have caused the rear brakes to be locked up(park brake cables were one of the items in my original estimate that were declined so MrsConsumer could scam $from the jeweler, as well as the rear wheel cylinders that were leaking brake fluid
My business is by word of mouth, I do not advertise, and I am busier than I can handle, with very satisfied customersSo I will not waste any more time trying to satisfy the un-satisfiableYour Mechanic has no desire to continue a business relationship with MrsConsumer
And it is my God given 2nd Amendment right to have My ("Undercover carry permit") Carry Concealed Weapons Permit
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/09/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As you can see by the documents that I provided, this mechanic was given over $by me (it doesn't matter who I borrowed the money from to pay for the work)The final invoice was for only a little over $He gave me a check for $and still owes me close to $in changeThis amount needs to be returned to me as he was paid up front in good faith and it is not my fault that he feels that writing an invoice constitutes charging me an additional $It is not my fault that he takes this long on his computer to do something so simpleHe did a very poor job on my truck and I have to pay someone else to redo the work that he says that he did such a good job onI can see that I am not going to get anything back on the labor costs already, but he definately needs to give me my change! This has got to be illegal
