Review: I purchased 3rd party guaranteed tickets in the amount of $226.00 for a New York Theatre performance 0n 9/7/13 of "Motown". When I arrived at the Theatre before showtime, I was told there was someone else in my seats, which meant, according to [redacted] Theatre, I was sold fraudulent tickets. (Ticket Info) Purchase Number is [redacted] Purchase Date: Sep 6 2013 3:58PM. After initially calling YourTicketPlaceInc myself, and several attempts over months by [redacted] to dispute the charges, they have refused to refund the $226.00.
During the dispute process, their only reply is that me, the purchaser downloaded the tickets, which I did. They refused to acknowledge my complaint, which was, that my wife and I were denied access to the Theatre with their tickets! Because we were already at the Theatre and wanted to see the play, we ended purchasing another set of tickets in the amount of $294.00. All in all, when I spoke to YourTicketPlace, they did ask for proof that we were denied access to the Theatre. In my attempt to get this proof from [redacted] Theatre, [redacted] refused to provide any support regarding proof. I understand YourTicketPlaces need for proof but I have done all I can do, and this is a legitimate dispute. I ended up paying a total of $520.00 for this event. Its was great, but not worth that amount.
At this time I would like to Include [redacted] Theatre in this dispute, as all they would need to do is provide information or documentation that the tickets I purchased (September 7, 2013, $294.00 from [redacted] Theatre, [redacted], [redacted]) with the following information: Issued to [redacted], Order number [redacted].
I can provided a copy of all tickets purchased with this complaint. in closing, when we tried to enter the Theatre with our YourTicketPlace tickets, [redacted] Theatre said, and I quote "unless your name is [redacted], these tickets are invalid".Desired Settlement: A full refund of the Tickets in the amount of $226.00.
Tickets: 2 x $95.00 = $190.00
Service Fee: 2 x $14.25
E-Ticket: $7.50
Total: $226.00

Response:
We sold 2 tickets to the show "Motown" to Mr. [redacted]. He claimed that he when he went to the show, someone was sitting in his seats. No one can gain entry to the theatre without legitimate tickets, so if he gained entry, then the tickets were valid. When this was pointed out to Mr. [redacted], he then changed his story, and said the e-tickets he received would not scan and could not gain entry. It is possible that the e-ticket he printed out, printed poorly, and would not scan. Mr. [redacted] filed a complaint with [redacted], the card he used to purchase the tickets, but [redacted] closed the case in our favor.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't know how YourTicketPlace has operated with other sales, but I would like to make this dispute as clear as possible. We walked into the theatre with the downloaded tickets from YourTicketPlace, once my tickets were viewed by the attendant, I was directed to the ticketing window, where I was first asked, if that was my name on the tickets, I said no (obviously), then the person at the window informed me that there were people with tickets for the same seats, already sitting inside the theatre, thus, we could not use the tickets that we had downloaded from YourTicketPlace, to enter the theatre. Because we had arrived from out of town to see the Play, we asked if any tickets were still available to purchase and enter the theatre, they said yes, and this is how we ended up spending over $500.00 to see Motown.
