The easy part - I researched the order of items rung on the check and the soft drink was before the food. Therefore, it could not have been added later.
Ms. [redacted] arrived at 6:52pm. Her check was printed at 7:45 and closed at 7:46. I do...

not know how a server would get her check, get to a computer, add a false tip and get that check closed within one minute. It is very nearly impossible.
However, when she called to complain, we told her we would be more than happy to reimburse the entire check and charge her for her dinner without any tip. Meanwhile, Ms. [redacted] was all over the internet telling everyone that Yours Truly commits fraud and theft and so yes, we got peeved and after her calling many times to the restaurant and to our headquarters, cussing out whoever answered the phone, we instructed her not to call again.
Although I would not know for sure, I could imagine that the owner, in his outrage over the continuing harrassment, which we repaired right away when she asked us to, talked to her in this manner. She would not quit calling and yelling.
I do not believe Ms. [redacted] handle this as your typical patron would have. If a guest asks us to do something for him/her, such as remove a tip, and we do so right away, the guest is usually happy that wee handled it without question. I cannot see any need to reimburse her the $52.74 off the product consumed by her and her family.
One more thing, when she called, she initially said she left a 5$ tip on her credit card, and later, she said she left nothing because a Yours Truly server does not deserve to be tipped. Please let me know if there is anything further I can do for you.

When speaking to the company I never once raised my voice, never once swore or spoke in any disrespectful manner. I feel that the way I was treated by the owner and the corporate office was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I showed the company proof that it was not my hand writing, and that the ticket they faxed me was indeed forged, if the ticket that was forged was compared to the refund ticket the hand writing is not the same it is very different, once I was yelled at and hung up on and turned away after an e-mail addressing the situation and I turned everything over to the [redacted] Police Department. I feel as they did not like that a patron who has gone to numerous of their locations over the years confronted them with an issue to this extent.
When posting anything on social media I posted facts. I did not ask anyone not to dine at their chain. I merely let the community know watch your receipts it can happen anywhere not just at YT.
I am disappointed that this occurred. My family will not dine at any of their locations again, which is a great disappointment as my family frequented this chain over the years.
