I am rejecting this response because: I lost enough of my time, energy and money with this unprofessional businessTaking the next step suggested by the business owner is not going to solve anything By the way his response on May 19, when I went for the retest was: "the car is still not ready"His son came and check the computer and he contradicted his father's initial evaluation and said that my car is ready for the testThan I said: "it was ready also the first time probably but you did not read the computer correct and did not show me the readingI almost made a complaint but I reconsidered." My mechanic said: "the computer shows only one light which is not a major reason - the car should pass in this condition." My mechanic has over years of experience working with different cars and owning his own business here in the US and also in Europe The only reason I left right away was to find another business that is open on the same day, to prove that his knowledge and his expertise in smog and computer technology is very limitedI will make sure I will let everyone knows how bad his customer and mechanical skills areHe should refund me more that just the fee charged for the misdiagnosis of my car; my time I took from my job to come and be there hour before he close his shop, the time I had to go allover town to my mechanic, another smog shop, etc Thank you! This comstomer came in and I performed the smog his catalyst monitor was not ready this his smog failed for not being ready I told him he needed to drive the vehicle for a minimum of miles and bring it back for a
retestHe was furiose that his car failed but there was nothing I could do so he took it to his mecanic and his mecanic said it should have passed my response was to have his mecanic pass it thenHe answered that his mecanic wasnt a smog tech and I said so I said then belive me when I said it didnt pass He came back days later I checkd his monitor and told him it was ready and I could smog it now and it would pass he answered " it was ready befor you just wanted extra money and I wanted to file a complain" hearing this upset me and I told him I refuse to retest his vehicle and I want him to take it elsewhere for the retestI came back into my office and he kept on followoing he and I asked him again to leave he refuse to leave thats when I told him I was gonna call the police As far as his vehicle not passing and wanting a refund I want him to file a complain with the bearau of automotive repair for a failure and fax them the failed smog paperwork that I gave him and let them make the judgment on wether I should give him a refund or not

Review: On May 9, 2016 I went to Yuba Tire & SMOG Repair to have the SMOG done for my 2006 [redacted] Aveo. After charging me $21.75 he told me that my car is not ready to be tested and I have to drive the car for at least 50 miles before coming for retest. Subsequently I went o my mechanic @ [redacted] in Yuba City. He checked the car with his computer and told me that the car is ready for SMOG. I called back the business and the owner was abrasive and arrogant telling me to have my mechanic do the SMOG. Today after 10 days of driving the car (almost 200 miles) I went back to have the SMOG done and he told me that the car is not ready again, but his son checked the computer and said that is ready. I said that it was ready also the first time and I almost made a complaint with Revdex.com. After I said that they were extremely hostile, refused their services to me and threaten to call the police on me. After that I went directly to a different SMOG shop in town, and they told me that the car is ready for SMOG. They completed the test and my car passed without any problems. I have the SMOG certificate in my hand if a copy is needed.

I will make sure other friends, family and people I know will avoid using Yuba Tire & SMOG Repair services.Desired Settlement: I took time off from my work twice to arrive at their business at least 30 minutes before the closing time. I had to spend a lot of time driving between shops , and extra money for a the SMOG fee at a different shop.I would like them to refund me the money they charged me $21.75 (due to their lack of professionalism) - the car should have passed the SMOG in the first place. I want them to apologize for the way they treated me as their customer. I will never use their services again.

Review: My Daughter in law talked to someone at the place to have my sons truck re smoged and the guy said to come in at 2@pm and they will take care of it. She went there and they said they couldn't do it and to go somewere else.She came back in the rain without wipers working and told me what they said. I called up the Smog shop and asked for the manager and he said he was I asked him his name and he said who is this.I said [redacted] and asked again who was this and he said [redacted]. I told him what happened and he hung up on me.I called again, ran once then he picked up the phone and hung up again.Desired Settlement: People need to know this is a bad place for Business!

when your daughter-in-law called and asked for a retest I told her to bring it at about 2 o'clock so we could retest it . But she never mentioned that her vehicle had Gross polluted. she came in and I hold her I needed to see the failed smog paperwork and when I saw that it has gross polluted I told her I couldn't do the retest that day and she would have to take it to a star station to retest it. however I also told her that I was in the processes of becoming a star station and my certification would be updated the next day and I could do it then. he asked if there where and other stat stations nearby and I gave her a few locations and she went there only to find out they wanted seventy dollars for the smog. so she called me again and I told her ill do her retest for the twenty dollars retest fee but she had to wait till the next day for my star certification to be complete. And her father-in-law was mad at us because she was driving in the rain without wipers? how is that my fault?
