As an owner for a large company for many years I have to look my best and don't have a lot of time to do this I have been going to Intuition for many years and one of the biggest reasons is due to how quickly they always try and accommodate me I get my get blow dried regularly and like to have my nails painted weekly I see Kelly or Ashley for my color and have never been un-happyI think this business is out standing and a real asset to the St Pete Central Community

Intuition was recommended by a co-workerI stopped by to make an appointment and Linda was available so I agreed to have her cut my hairI should have realized this was not a good idea because she seemed new and a bit apprehensive with everything she didShe shampooed me and we went to her station and talked about what kind of haircut I wantedI asked if she wanted to see pictures and she said no; she felt like we were communicatingWe talked about my bangs for about minutesI wanted them right above my eyebrows and said if they were just a little shorter than that it would be fine because they seem to grow fastI just didn't want them too thick or cut straight acrossI wanted them to frame my faceShe took her first cut which included about half my bangs and quite a bit of hair above the bang areaWhen she moved her hand, I couldn't believe how short they were! I looked at her with shock and said Oh no! That's really shortShe asked if it was too short and I said yes, but what are we going to do now? You might as well cut the rest of themShe did and I ended up with bangs that were 2" long at mostThey were uneven, thick and cut straight across! I told her I was sorry but didn't feel comfortable with her cutting the rest of my hairI even offered to pay for the shampoo and she offered to blow dry my hair before I leftBut, I left with wet hair and didn't pay a dimeI called the salon the next day and spoke with Rolando hoping to get some sort of apology or maybe even a coupon for a free haircutHe got with the owner, Dawn, and called me back with Dawn's responseShe said I could come in and have them fixed for free, but if I still wanted a haircut, I would have to payI told Rolando that I wanted to send Dawn a picture so she would know that it wasn't just a matter of them being a little short or slightly crooked and he gave me a number to text the picture toI texted the picture the day before ThanksgivingSince it was the holiday, I figured I might not hear from her until the weekend or possibly MondayI texted again on Monday and calledI was told Dawn was going to call my on TuesdayHere it is Thursday, a week and a half later and Dawn has not called or replied to my textsFrom my viewpoint, there are possible solutionsEither offer to cut my hair for free after the bangs grow out or cut it now for free and blend the bangs a bit to make the growing out process a little easierBut, the main thing is this: I had my own business for years and the customer is not always right, but you definitely want to keep them happy! It is word of mouth that will make or break a business so one unhappy customer turns into 10+ that will never do business with youAll I really wanted was an acknowledgement from Dawn that, yes this happened, it was a mistake, they are too short and cut poorly and possibly even an apology

For my trial wedding hair & make up, I was referred to this salon by a friend of mines momI was very very nervous- but my stylist kelly made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen to what I wantedI had been to other salons in the St Pete area, but did not feel confident they could pull of the vintage theme I was looking for
So I decided to have them do me and my wedding parties hair & madone there the day of the weddingI had brides maids, flower girlsWe were going for a vintage style theme and we got thatI was very nervous, but this salon was able to do to pull it off and they didn't seemed stressed about it at allThis turned out to be a very good experienceWe had to get dressed there and it was very nice because they had bathrooms!

I am like most people and don't trust my hair to just anyoneI attend a lot of events and get my picture taken often and need to alway be on pointMy hair looks and feels absolutely amazing since coming to Intuition and I couldn't be happierEverything I need is in one place and with my crazy schedule I need thatI DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Intuition was recommended by a co-worker. I stopped by to make an appointment and Linda was available so I agreed to have her cut my hair. I should have realized this was not a good idea because she seemed new and a bit apprehensive with everything she did. She shampooed me and we went to her station and talked about what kind of haircut I wanted. I asked if she wanted to see pictures and she said no; she felt like we were communicating. We talked about my bangs for about 5 minutes. I wanted them right above my eyebrows and said if they were just a little shorter than that it would be fine because they seem to grow fast. I just didn't want them too thick or cut straight across. I wanted them to frame my face. She took her first cut which included about half my bangs and quite a bit of hair above the bang area. When she moved her hand, I couldn't believe how short they were! I looked at her with shock and said Oh no! That's really short. She asked if it was too short and I said yes, but what are we going to do now? You might as well cut the rest of them. She did and I ended up with bangs that were 2" long at most. They were uneven, thick and cut straight across! I told her I was sorry but didn't feel comfortable with her cutting the rest of my hair. I even offered to pay for the shampoo and she offered to blow dry my hair before I left. But, I left with wet hair and didn't pay a dime. I called the salon the next day and spoke with Rolando hoping to get some sort of apology or maybe even a coupon for a free haircut. He got with the owner, Dawn, and called me back with Dawn's response. She said I could come in and have them fixed for free, but if I still wanted a haircut, I would have to pay. I told Rolando that I wanted to send Dawn a picture so she would know that it wasn't just a matter of them being a little short or slightly crooked and he gave me a number to text the picture to. I texted the picture the day before Thanksgiving. Since it was the holiday, I figured I might not hear from her until the weekend or possibly Monday. I texted again on Monday and called. I was told Dawn was going to call my on Tuesday. Here it is Thursday, a week and a half later and Dawn has not called or replied to my texts. From my viewpoint, there are 2 possible solutions. Either offer to cut my hair for free after the bangs grow out or cut it now for free and blend the bangs a bit to make the growing out process a little easier. But, the main thing is this: I had my own business for years and the customer is not always right, but you definitely want to keep them happy! It is word of mouth that will make or break a business so one unhappy customer turns into 10+ that will never do business with you. All I really wanted was an acknowledgement from Dawn that, yes this happened, it was a mistake, they are too short and cut poorly and possibly even an apology.

I have been going to Intuitions Salon and Spa Clearwater for over 5 years, and I have always had a great experience. Dani always takes time to discuss what I'm looking for with my hair and color, has great suggestions and always follows thru for a beautiful outcome.

I recently went back to Intuition Salon and Spa for a free 15 Minute Consultation. I decided to have my hair cut and am very happy with the results and my stylist.

I found Intuition online. I was able to get my hair cut that day. I really liked the cut but decided I wanted Dawn the owner to color it. The front desk was nice enough to call Dawn at her other location. Dawn was nice enough to have a consultation for my color with me at the St Pete location. My understanding is she is very busy doing clients at her Clearwater salon. She did a full review and recommended what I needed to have my hair in shape for the hair color I wanted. Dawn then worked me into her schedule to receive hair color with her. She also highly recommended other girls on her staff but I really wanted her to do it. It is the best hair color I have ever had. I am now going to go to her Clearwater shop every 5 weeks to keep this hair color. I have appointments for the whole year. I never want to go to anyone but Dawn.
