Review: The lack of customer service and professionalism, I have received during the agreement period is nothing less than ridiculous! My husband and I have been lied to by Z-Best sales staff, regarding the make good of verbal promises they gave, as well my written agreement was never fully fulfilled, yet my husband was pressured to sign the agreement before they would leave our home, and verbally agreed to fully satisfy the arrangement when they FIRST BEGAN delivering the furniture.1-November 5, 2013- I visited Z-Best and selected living room and dining room furniture, and was serviced by salesman [redacted]. I paid $100 deposit/payment for the first month, and [redacted] did not want to give me a receipt for the payment because as he stated My information was not in the system yet, and the store manager could generate one tomorrow. I was not satisfied with this excuse, and continued to ask for a written receipt for my payment. Neither of the two salesmen in the store at the time could locate a receipt book. I finally requested that salesman [redacted] hand write me a receipt on the Z-Best Rentals letterhead, and provided me with this version of a receipt.2-The furniture delivery was scheduled 7pm on November 8, 2013. Upon delivering the furniture, [redacted] states that the dining room table loaded on the delivery truck was the broken table from the z-best showroom, and that he would have his delivery persons deliver a new set on November 9th before 12 noon. I noticed that the floor vase and 2nd end table that I was promised by [redacted] with the order, was not delivered, and [redacted] agreed to have the vase delivered with the table on November 9, 2013. [redacted] stated that the end table was on back order. 3-On November 9, 2013 dining room table and chairs/bench were delivered, and again I mentioned to the Z-Best staff that the agreed floor vase again was not delivered. I also noticed that the bottom of the coffee table ironwork is warped. The delivery staff took photos on site of the damage, to report to the store manager. And I was told that the table I received was the last one in the store.4-Upon sight inspection with the naked eyes, the dining table did not appear to be damages except for one very tiny knick. Later that evening, I closer inspected the "knick with my hand, and noticed another large ding not far from knick. I then proceeded to move my hand along the entire edge of the table, and notice several large sized gashes that seemed to be painted over. I was appalled! 5-I called Z-Best first thing in the morning on November 10, 2013, and was told to call back on November 11th, because [redacted] of off for the day. Nothing he discussed with me was notated in my file. And the store staff told me over the phone that they couldnt help me because he was off from work. I stated how unprofessional it was of them to not have anything in writing regarding the situation.6-I called Z-Best first thing in the morning on November 11, 2013, to explain the dilemma with the table, and demand a replacement of the damaged table. I was told by [redacted] that he would send out a new table top to replace the damaged one and bring the floor vase. I asked when to expect another coffee table, and was told that he would let me know when it comes in. A delivery was scheduled for November 15, 2013 at 7pm. It was heavily raining on the 15th, and I called the store that afternoon to reschedule delivery for November 16th 4-6pm.7-On November 16th, I returned home at exactly 4:10pm, and there was a z-best flyer on my front door handle. I did not receive any calls from Z-Best regarding the delivery mishap. I called the store to see where the delivery was, and was told by the store manager that they had left already. I asked for them to return, and overheard the store manager asking the delivery staff What time were you there? and That delivery was for 4 to 6. They refused to return. I asked the store manager for an update on the coffee table replacement, 2nd end table, and the floor vase. He stated that he was unaware of any promises [redacted] discussed with me, and that he would talk to him on the next day. The delivery was set for November 22nd at 7pm. I later learned from my neighbors that there was NO delivery truck at my house at 4pmthe delivery drivers apparently lied!8-Finally, on November 22nd at 8pm my husband called the Z-Best store and spoke to [redacted] to inquire where the scheduled delivery was. [redacted] stated that his help was stuck in traffic in Orlando, and he himself was delivering the items. And that he would be at our home by 8pm. Needless to say, to delivery truck or items arrived, and as of November 23 at 12 noon I still have not received a delivery or phone call from Z-Best Rentals of Palm Coast.Desired Settlement: Refund my $100 deposit/1st month's rent, because I never received the fully satisfied agreement items.
