Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
First of all the shop had never refunded me anythingI have all the invoices from start to finishAnd each invoice has different things saying on themFor example the second invoice I received from them says I have bad turbosBut on the third invoice, it is completely gone and doesn't say anything about the turbosIt is because I never had bad turbos to start withThe shop just wanted me to keep doing unnecessary work to my carAnd if I hadn't caught that, then they would make me spend even more on things that aren't the problem related to my issuesAlso I had spoke to the son of the owner who had claimed that the idle problem was because of my ERG valveAnd if they cut it, then it should solve all the idle issuesAfter he assured me that is the problem, he had charged me $dollars and told me if it doesn't fix the issue he will refund me the moneyNot only did he leave me with a cut EGR valve, but he also never refunded me my moneyThe owner of the shop claims that the issue related to my problem is the charge systemWell how come I was told that after they had charged me thousand dollars for random things that didn't fix my issue of the carI don't get where they were keep coming up with numbers when it wasn't resolving the issueI wasn't told about my charge system and pulley, until all the transactions between us were doneOr else I would have got that taken care of firstAnother thing that the owner mentioned was the cooling fanI had actually payed this shop to put a switch on the cooling fan because that is what they told me was best for itSo I had followed what they saidBut if putting the fan back to stock was a better thing to do in the first place, why did the shop not tell me? Instead they had charged me money for a switch and all the hours of labor it took for them to put it on my fan, Just to tell me after everything was done that the better thing for me to do is go back to the stock cooling fanIf they started with that instead I wouldn't have to waste money on something that wont solve the issueAnd would have went with a stock fan insteadI don't get why the shop would keep things away from me like thatBut then again like I said before, this shop has been misguiding me since my car has been in there and making me do not needed repair work for my car
The first day I brought my car for repairs, the son of the owner named *** highly claimed that they can fix any Z cars and that they are expertsThe minute things weren't working out I would always get the response "oh it's an old car that has been passed around" from my experience these guys are not experts and mislead oftenAnother thing to be noted is that the owner *** had said to resolve the issue I am having with the shop, He had told me to bring the stock parts like the pulley and cooling fan that was mentioned above, and he would do the repairs for freeI just would have to pay for the parts and bring itI had agreed and asked for a parts list which was supposed to be given to me via email in a few days by the ownerWell that's the last I heard from the owner or the shopNo one had called me or even provided me a parts listI had called over and over, sent numerous emails and even contacted the owners personal phone multiple timesBut would get no responseI did not want to take this up to Revdex.com (Revdex.com)But after getting no response from the shop or the owner for months I had no choice but to contact Revdex.comThat is why I am surprised that the owner had time to reply back to Revdex.comAt this point even if the owner calls and agrees to do the repairs for free that me and him had talked about months back, I still don't trust him or his shop with my car anymore at allEspecially after this experience and the fact that I had to pay this shop to repair a few things in my car that worked perfectly fine before being put in this shopI feel that this shop is a cheat and the owner as well his son often lie to cover things upThat is why I am contacting you guys because I just want to be compensated with a refund or even a partial refundAs well as the $dollars this shop owes me

We will refund $with the following stipulationIf our offer, of the refund, is accepted, we withdraw the offer to install customer furnished parts at no cost

Dear Sirs , I have Contacted MR. [redacted] By Phone. I left a voice mail on 07/03/2015 and talked to him personally on 07/06/2015 at about 12 noon. Mr [redacted] has agreed to bring the car back so that we can resolve his car issues. He stated he will bring it back sometime this week and leave it for a few...

days so we can resolve the issue at no cost to MR [redacted].Thank you you for your help in this matter , I will fix the customers complaints as soon as possible.Mark G[redacted]Manager Zsport Euro[redacted] Everett wa 98201[redacted]

Mr. [redacted]  asked to have 3 wheel studs replaced and his front brakes replaced, paid for by [redacted] only authorized 3 wheel studs. We advised the customer that we  could only remove lug studs by cutting them off. There was damage done to the right front wheel...

center cap. Z Sport will gladly pay for a new center cap. Customer was advised that a nation wide search for a center cap came up negative. Advised him to search for one and he will be reimbursed. The parts in question are up to 28 years old. Can not say in good faith , that there were any scratches of the wheels that were not there already. The lugnuts were matched up as well as possible considering the age, parts availabilty and condition. If Mr [redacted] can find the exact lugnuts he wants, Z Sport is happy to exchange them for him and refund the lugnuts that were charged to [redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I was informed at the time of scheduling that it was likely the wheel would need to be removed from the back end (ball joints) in order to cut the lug without damaging the wheel. Z Sport chose not to follow this procedure and did not adequately protect the wheel from damage. I am unable to dedicate any further time in sourcing a hub cap and believe that to be the responsibility of Z Sport for neglecting to complete the job as initially described. There was no mention of the damage to paint, and I will not accept the age of a vehicle as an excuse for neglecting to take proper precautions to mitigate damage. I note, there was no mention of a possibility of damage to the vehicle in any way prior or during the repair.

The customer has disputes concerning  the work  performed on his 1990 300ZX twin turbo on invoice [redacted].He states he brought the car in to fix a low idle problem and engine smoking and a coolant leak. The car arrived to the shop running on 5 cylinders and smoking from engine compartment...

with no idle problem other than that caused by the dead cylinder. . The history of this vehicle is sorted.  It has had many custom and performance modifications, has been totaled and has a totaled title. The title has been washed between California and Washington.  the car has spent a great part of its life on the wholesale market rotating between auctions and various dealers.  In this process of sitting ( the car is 25 years old) mosture has accumulated in the interior causing corrosion on electrical connections and on the electronic components in the engine compartment. All of which can contribute to  poor engine operation problems.  Our conclusion on the low and rough idle problem, and the conclusion is hypothetical, based on data gathered and engine inspections and tests.  The engine idle as well as general engine performance is controlled by a computer. the computer require 12 plus volts to operate properly. when voltage to the computer drops below 12 volts the engine fails to operate according to design and will indeed have an irratic idle and poor performance.  The alternator was tested and is good however at idle it does not rotate fast enough to generate the voltage needed to keep the battery charged above the required 12 volts.  The alternator output is reduced by the installation of an aftermarket "power pulley" system that, by changing the gear ratio of the front crank pulley, the water pump pulley, and the alternator pulley, slows the rotation of the affected components, reducing engine drag thus creating more usable power.  However the slower rotation of the alternator causes the battery and thus the engine control computer to have less than the required voltage to operate engine electronic controls including the idle.                            Additionally, the original engine operated cooling fan has been replaced with an electric fan which uses significant amounts of voltage during all periods of engine operations (including idle) wherein engine temperature is in normal or above normal heat ranges. To sumerize,  The vehicle electrical system, under certain operating conditions, does not receive enough voltage to support designed operation of the vehicle at low rpm including idle. To cure the low and rough idle problem it is recommended to return the engine cooling and charging system to stock Nissan configuration by replacing the electric fan with standard mechanical components and by replacing the Front crank pulley, water pump pulley and the alternator pulley with Nissan stock parts. This should resolve both engine cooling problems at idle as well as provide sufficient electrical output to support engine needs including the engine idle. The customer also made overcharging claims for the fuel injector replacement work performed on invoice [redacted]                                                                                                                                                   One fuel injector was initially replace and the customer was charged 1.3 hours labor. Once it was decided that all of the injectors must be replaced the 1.3 hours of labor initially charged was refunded and the customer was charged 4.0 hours labor for all of the related fuel injector work. Standard Nissan labor for replacing the fuel injectors on this vehicle is 6.6 hours. the customer was significantly undercharged for the fuel injector work performed.  All of this is documented on customer invoice [redacted].

I am rejecting this complaint because firstly, the $250 that they are offering to refund should have already been paid, as guaranteed by their manager named [redacted]. He assured a $250 back to me if the idle issue will not be solved by cutting my EGR. So they did, but it did not solve the issue at all. He has given me his word, but I have not received anything up until now despite the multiple ways and times of reaching them out.
Secondly, I have spent $3000 for their service, not including the parts I’ve paid for. In all honesty, I want a full refund because they did not do any good to my car at all. But I am asking for half the price I spent, $1500 plus the $250 he promised, which I think is fair. If they do not want this option, I would bring my car to another repair shop who can do better, but Z Sport Automotive should pay for everything.
I have been very considerate to Z Sport Automotive and this issue. I have spent a lot of money and time for this, yet I did not get the best service that I want. Z Sport Automotive is trying to close this case the easy way out without solving this issue at all. They are very untrustworthy and unprofessional.
I am eagerly looking forward to a positive response,

Review: I drove my 2001 BMW 525i in for repair for the cooling system & brakes. I specifically asked them to check the head as well; my car was overheating and knew I needed a new radiator. They replaced the radiator & expansion tank and also serviced the brakes.

The total bill was $1,314.54 and my head gasket blew on the way home. I called Z's and they didn't seem at all apologetic that I was able to drive my car to them, but after their repairs, I couldn't even make it home. The paperwork recommended a cylinder head & gasket replacement, but the fact I was unable to even get my car home, causes me to think perhaps the system wasn't bled properly & caused the head gasket to blow prematurely.Desired Settlement: Repair the cylinder head & replace gasket.

Revdex.com Report U XXXXXXXX

Mr. [redacted]:

The above-referenced 2 Sport Euro invoice is very clear and descriptive re the conditions encountered on your BMW 5251.

First and foremost, the vehicle was unsafe to operate because of defective front brakes.

The second issue, and the one your Revdex.com complaint centers on, was the engine over-heating. When we received the vehicle, there was very little coolant in the cooling system. On testing we discovered that the radiator was leaking badly and the coolant expansion tank was cracked and leaking.

It is impossible to test for an internally defective cylinder head gasket until the vehicle's engine cooling system is free of leaks and can be pressurized.

Once the cooling system leaks were repaired, the system pressure test did indicate coolant leakage into one or more cylinders. That condition was verified with a cooling system hydrocarbon test. Again, neither test could have been performed with a defective and leaking cooling system.

You were advised not to drive the vehicle, that the engine was at-risk without repairing the cylinder head leakage.

All of this information is documented on our invoice # [redacted] Please read and review, and if you have further questions please contact me directly. I own the Z Sport businesses.
