Zahn's Budget Auto

Review: I signed a contract for consignment with Zahns Budget Auto in 2007 to sell my 16' BassTracker for no less than $4,000. Zahns Budget Auto sold it & gave me a check for $3,300 & to take it or they would call the Wausau Police Department & put me in Jail. I took the check & cashed it at their bank. Zahns Budget Auto owes me $700 plus 8 years of interest. It was sometime in May of 2007. I complained to everyone at the business, including the owner himself.

My boat was in the Stevens Point, WI Buyers Guide. A Salesman at Zahns Budget Auto saw my ad, then called me to have them sell it at their business on consignment. They did sell it to a young man in Rosholt, WI for $3,300. He called me in June of 2007, asking for help at Lake Helen (by Rosholt). It wouldn't start. I went up there on my 2007 Harley Full-dresser, with some gas in a pepsi bottle & some tools. It still wouldn't start. I told him to take it to a boat place for a check-up. I hadn't used since the fall before. I never did ask him how much he paid Zahns Budget Auto for it.Desired Settlement: I want a check for the $700 they screwed me out of, plus $50 for my trouble. A total of $750. Or I will file a claim in Portage County Court Small Claims court for $750 plus court costs. I drove 40 miles one way there on several occasions.
