I am rejecting this response because:
The response suggests that the sole of the shoe is the problem and further that it has to years of wearThe sales receipt clearly shows when the shoes were purchased from their store in Creve Couer MO and it is obviously dated to weeks prior to original contact with shoe complaintTo blame the customer in this way is further proof of poor customer relations of this business.If I take their response as truth then there can only be possible explanations;1) They sold me a pair of to years old shoes as "brand new" or2) The quality of the shoes is to years of wear appears in to weeks of use.Neither speaks well of the business.I believe the shoes were brand new and that the company did not listen to my complaint at all! I complained about the side leather and how it was sewn to the top pieceThis is not mentioned in the responseThe leather was pulled and bunched in a way that only the left shoe side wall caved in and poked outThis created a unpleasant look to the shoe.The Creve Couer store's offer was to give me a credit of 50% toward a new pair for MY WEEK old shoesLudicrous!Since writing the complaint and calling the factory, I sent the shoes to San Antonio where the factory did replace them.So, the matter is closed in the exchange/value sense, but given their insinuations and denial of responsibility I will never visit this store again

Dear Revdex.com:Thank you for informing SAS Shoes of the matter with customer, *** ***We take pride in the workmanship of our product and it is important that every customer has a product that will withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.Our Store Manager who assisted the
customer has been employed with us for many years, is exztensively trained on ensuring the proper fit, and thoroughly familiar with the constructions, workmanship and care of SAS productThe sole of the shoe Mr*** returned to the location was worn-out; equal to ear of 2-years, not 2-weeks from his purchase of June 9, The extent of wear in such a short time period is not plausible in the pair of shoes Mr*** brought to us for return.That said, at the time Mr*** attempted this return, our team offered a resolution the he refusedHe stated that he would send the shoes back to the factory warehouse in San AntonioWe have yet to receive his shipment, and have had no further contact with the customerIt is our intention to ensure that every customer is pleased with our product, and we do stand behind our nameAn indication of this is that Mr*** enlisted our resoling services for a different pair of worn SAS shoesThe workmanship met with his satisfactionWe are more than happy to extend once again a fair resolution to Mr*** to ensure that he is walking comfortably.If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me at: ***.Sincerely,*** * ***District Sales Manager***

Dear Ms. [redacted], SAS is in receipt of your letter dated July 20, 2016 regarding complaint [redacted]. As a company, we guarantee our footwear from manufacturer's defects within a reasonable amount of time and wear. The customer referenced in your letter reached out to our Customer Service team and sent in the shoes for inspection. After inspection, our Customer Service team determined there was a manufacturer's defect and replaced the shoes. Since we agreed with customer and replaced the shoes, which was the requested remedy, we respectfully ask for this case to be marked satisfactorily resolved and closed.

We contacted the customer and resolved the issue to their satisfaction and appreciation. Replaced the shoes in question and sent them to Canada to her mother.
