Review: My husband purchased my engagement/wedding ring from Zales this year on February 21, 2015. The ring cost $2739.23. By July, a diamond had already fallen out. I have always been careful with my ring; never shower with it, sleep with it on, or do any strenuous activity with it on. I also routinely took it to Zales to have it checked by them,. With my wedding coming up at the time (August 8th, 2015) I visited Zales to speak with a manager. The manager indicated that it is "normal" for diamonds to fall out. I told her that did not work for me and that I wanted a refund due to the poor quality. A $2800 ring should not be losing diamonds within 5 months of purchasing it. After I told her that I wanted a refund, she told me that a refund was not an option due to it being outside of their 30 day return policy. She told me I was more than welcome to trade it for a ring, but that it needed to be double the value. I said that was absurd and that I refused to pay another $2740 for a different ring with the same quality. She told me that she would fix the lost diamond for free but that my only option was to keep it or trade it in for a diamond twice the value. That to me, is robbery. Today, 11/25/15 I took my ring to a local, very reputable jeweler known for quality. When examining my ring, they said that my main center stone was about to fall out and that one of the side diamonds on the band was also about to fall out. They are repairing the prongs and securing the diamonds for me, and I am so thankful that I had this jeweler check because had I not, I would have ended up loosing my main .50 carat diamond and another side diamond. I refuse to live a lifetime of problems with this ring. $2800 may not seem like a lot of money to some people, but it is a lot of money to my family and I feel cheated and deceived. Zales is nothing but crooks and scammers and their jewelry is garbage. I have contemplated getting a lawyer or going to small claims court because I feel like I was robbed out of my money due to the terrible quality of the product, and the terrible policies that Zales has in place.Desired Settlement: I would like Zales to take my ring back and refund my whole purchase amount. I have the original box, packaging, receipts, everything. I haven't even had the ring a year and have had nothing but problems. I would like my entire $2739.23 back.

Review: I purchased a 10k ring for my mother at first the ring was perfect but a couple of day after the return period my started noticing that her finger was turn greenish black color and the stone that was on the ring was now dull with no shine after only 2 months of use. I called zales and was unable to return the ring I ask to have someone call me from zales corporate to call me because I felt that the quality of the product I purchased was low quality which is something zales advertise great quality from a well know brand. I have now been waiting over 10 days for a response every time I call customer service they tell they resubmitted or added notes to the previous notes so I can get a call which until now I still have not received. Im very disappointed I purchased products from zales before and I never had any problems. The ring I purchased is low quality and they cant even take a coupled of seconds to speak with me regarding this issue. I wish I would have never purchased this ring because now its just sitting in box because no one can wear it.Desired Settlement: I have purchased merchandise from zales before but I never had any problems and I would just like to return this ring and purchase a ring of better quality that all I wanted from the beginning.

I visited a zales location in Gallery mall in Dallas texas. January 5, 2016 me and my future husband entered the location and was poorly greeted by a Caucasian woman who is now known as jessie....we asked her to show us some rings....to plan for our up and company engagment. Jessie showed us a few rings and for some reason seem like she was getting more and more irriated..I asked jessie if there was anymore rings for men... And she sighed and lead us to another display case. I noticed that she was shoeing us rings one at a time and I wanted to see both rings on my finger and my fiance to compare.....so I asked her if we could see two rings at one time jessie proceeded to say " its company policy and if you dont like it you can leave" and I was shocked me because she had attitude and I said excuse me and she told me "to get out the store"....and I told her I will not and asked who the manger is on duty and she pointed to a male and said he is over there and I asked what is his name and she said Ron. I said excuse me Ron can you come here and he came I said your employee is being rude and disrespectful, she has a threating demeanor I dont know what her problem is but she not going talk to me any kind of way, I said if she wants to do something about it we could go outside the store ...Ron said for jessie to move away and for me to not say that and I explained to him how her behavior was the whole time sonce we entered into the store. Ron proceeded to help me and my fiance he did wonderful in cudtomer service and turning a negative situation positive. But when we left the question to me was how many people has she done this to, because she did it wirhout cause..I wanted to call and do a complaint so the company could know how she is treating there customers. On Jan 6 the next day I called to do the complaint and as of yet no kne has contacting me. I feel we were racially discriminated against. Jessie was rude for no reason and she turned a happy occasion into something that was disrespectful and uncalled for. If you work at the gallery mall you customer service experience should be an exceptional experience. If zales has her representing the company that is a disgrace......
