I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
In addition, I would like to thank Zanzibar fir their response. I also would like to know how to receive my refund? The other staff has been so kind to me over the years I will re-visit this restaurant and I will remove any negative backlash from social media as I hope this situation is a lessoned learned to this waiter and I accept his apology. I hope that his days get better for him. Good luck to Zanzibar!

high regard that we have for our customers, we’ve addressed the concerns of your complaint. The server admitted to leaving the area frustrated and using unprofessional language as was reported by you. In turn, this staff member was suspended and is not due to return until June 2nd, on a probationary period which will include additional training, to avoid a repeated situation such as this. During his suspension he has reached out expressing regret and apology’s for his unprofessional conduct. I personally would like to apologize to you again for the miscommunication in reference to my attempts to rectify the situation. I was under the impression when I removed gratuity and gave everyone a discount of 25-30 % from their checks that all guest were satisfied with the action that had been taken. As I recall, one of the guest had cashed out before I could discount her bill…what I did for her was to personally refund - in cash - the gratuity amount as well as the discount.To my knowledge, there was no complaint about food preparation or serve received from the bar and until receiving the Revdex.com complaint, I was not aware that anyone in your party was feeling as though enough had not been done in reference to the situation with the waiter. As a matter of fact, some of the group let me know they understood, and was satisfied with our action in giving discounts, and the cancellation on all amounts due for the entire bill for your celebratory birthday guest.I would like to ask you to consider your previous visits with us and not allow one worker to form your entire opinion of Zanzibar. Our customer’s patronage is important to us, and we hope that you’ll continue to give us opportunities to serve you. To that regard, we would also like to ask if you would remove any negative postings on social media that reflects on Zanzibar in an undesirable favor as a whole because of this situation… a standard that you have not known Zanzibar to be in your prior visits. As far as the waiter, his actions that evening does not represent the service, professional standards or behavior displayed daily by our hard working staff who enjoys their job in service, wanting all customers to feel as no stranger and enjoy the Zanzibar experience. Our goal is to strive to keep all customers happy, and because of this, we would be very content to refund the $28.00 to you. We only ask that you give us the opportunity to serve you at another time of your liking. Again, we truly apologize that you received service that prompted you to contact us with a complaint, and we regret any inconvenience or frustration that your experience has caused you.
