Quote was $70-$80./hour. Bill was $160./ 1 hour.1. Phone quote was $70.-$80./hour. Bill was $160. for 1 hour. 2. $45. fee for truck was not mentioned in quote. 3. $45. fee for second man was not mentioned in quote. 2nd man was not necessary. 4. Quote for a fan junction box was $50. When I told them to add it, he said it would cost me $80., so I skipped it. Not having it is a code violation 5. They used 2 junction boxes in the attic instead of a longer wire and 1 box 6. The 2 men fought about tightening the bolts on my fan. 7. I asked what the black rubber piece that came off my fan was. He put it in his pocket and told me not to worry about it. 8. The job took exactly 1 hour. It should have taken half that. 9. A friend had buy new gaskets and take down the fan body that Zar had put up without them. Zar should have known better. The story on the bill changes every time Zar explains it. I will have to hire an electrician to put in a junction box which I would have had Zar install if they hadn't raised their price from their original quote. Therefore I am asking Zar for a refund. I wouldn't waste my time on a complaint for such a minimal amount. That should be obvious. I am concerned that I wasted $160. Zar left my house not meeting code. I paid them only to get the 2 workmen, who were fighting each other, out of my house. Bill was double original estimate.
