I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.NONE of my problems started until I registered with the Zeeto Media site.  Immediately after signing up I received a phone call offering diet pills.  Then the barrage of phone calls started.  I have phone records that prove the calls started immediately after signing up for the Zeeto Media site.  Do they think I am really this stupid?  I have been in contact with several class action attorneys to determine my next course of action against Zeeto Media.  Seeing as how most of their senior management comes from Samples.com, a proven rip-off site on the FBI list, I think I have enticed more than one law firm with nailing them to the wall.  They can stand behind all the words that they want to write, but we all know exactly what they do with the information once they collect it and it is not legal when a person opts out from an offer and sells the information to telemarketers that violate the Do not Call list policy.

number to third parties and did not make any telemarketing calls to you.  That said, we take issues like this very
seriously, we appreciate your feedback, and we want to help you to address and
correct this situation.  Thank you for
this opportunity to respond.
By way of background, our
website, GetitFree aggregates free samples and deals from around the Internet
and displays the offers on our site.  A
consumer may sign up on our website directly, or through our registration
survey, which takes you through offers that may be of interest to consumers.  This enables consumers to save time by going
to a single website to see dozens of available offers, as opposed to scouring
the Internet themselves.
It is important to note
that we did not provide or sell your information to third parties, as you have
stated.  Rather, we present third
parties’ offers to you as part of the registration survey where you may then
opt-in to receiving correspondence from them.  As explained in our privacy policy, the only
parties that we share your information with are those you specifically said
“yes” to during that process.
We were able to use the
personal information you used to register for GetitFree to search our data
files to see which sponsored third party offers you selected.  Based on that search, we see that you
selected two sponsored third party offers, both of which are email
newsletters.  Neither company conducts
outbound telemarketing and we do not provide either company with phone data.  At the end of our survey, we see that you then
left our site and went to a third party advertiser’s website.  Without knowing, the information you entered
on that third party advertiser’s website may be the source of the telemarketing
calls you received.   
We hope that the above information helps to resolve your issues at least with
respect to us.  Since we have confirmed
that none of the third party offers you selected on our site received phone
data from us, we consider our part in this matter closed.  Please feel free to contact us if you feel we
can assist further.
