Zeiler, Ray Jr Construction

Review: Zeiler was hired to do remodeling (siding, soffit, fascia, windows) on our home. He was given a $3,000 down payment on the $6,000 job. Zeiler: A) abandoned the project before completion. B) performed shoddy work throughout, with some installed material literally falling off our house; contractors we’ve contacted since want to remove & redo his defective work. C) installed one window with a cracked frame. D) removed two wood supports from a porch without approval. E) committed numerous HICPA violations, including: 1) HICPA registration # not listed. 2) never registered per HICPA. 3) required more than one-third down payment. 4) no begin/completion date in contract. 5) work not begun within 45 days. 6) his address not listed in contract. 7) Bureau of Consumer Protection toll-free number not in contract. 8) no Right of Rescission clause in contract.Desired Settlement: I want Zeiler to return the $3,000 paid for work that was not done correctly & needs to be replaced.
