Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I Specifically asked the a Staff member BEFORE I wrote my check for this procedure at the office and was told the cancellation period was and 1/weeksNothing in the office was postedThe only papers I was told that were to be emailed were procedures for the day of the surgeryI didn't have time to review them because I had moved and had also chosen to cancel the surgery about a week later, July 8th I called several times and weeks would go by before this policy was made an "Issue" It wasn't until almost August that [redacted] got involved and refused to give me my refund it totalI have a voice message where she refuses to give me ANY refundYes I have that saved on my phone This business is unprofessional, they should have handed their policy to me in writing and made sure that it was understoodIf I would have known they needed weeks, I would have called to cancel a day soonerNow I have lost $250! That is not rightWhere is the staff member of this clinic who told me the policy was 1/weeks? She is obviously afraid to lose her job I spoke with [redacted] many times, the Dr's wife who writes the refunds...this resolution is not fair....the client is always right I am even just getting half my money back months laterMONTHS! The patient in question did not follow our policy for requesting a refund in a timely manner
This is a written policy that was sent to her by email once she scheduled her procedure and she was verbally informed of our refund policy at the time she gave us her downpayment
As
a courtesy, we offered to use 1/of her refund toward other services, she refused. We again informed her of the reason for the policy, in that we devote 1/of a working day towards
her procedure and when someone cancels with such short notice, we often have difficulty filling that spotIn essence a whole half day generates zero revenue.
This is not a good business model to replicate. We made many attempts to work with her, to no availThe client called many times and was quite rude to my staff
Our policy is written for a reason and we will be sticking with it

Review: I cancelled an appointment. I was told by the front desk that I had a week to a week and 1/2 to cancel my appointment to get a refund. I asked because I never saw any data explaining the policy. I cancelled my appointment on the 8th and was waiting for my refund. Today I have still not received a refund, so I called again. I was told they would send a check. I even gave a different address so I would be sure to get it. A short while later another person called me and told me that I will not be getting any refund because it was not within 2 weeks. They said I called in on the 8th to cancel my July 21st appointment. The person who writes the checks will only give me a credit. I do not want a credit. If I had known the policy, I would have called sooner... barely 1 day they want to keep $500?? I will never step foot in this business again!Even the Doctor told me 1 week was sufficient time to cancel!Desired Settlement: $500 check or cash.
