We will not run a credit report without the clients permission [redacted] did sign it, which states, "I also grant CLS permission to run a credit inquiry as part of the preliminary screening process." This is the second complaint to the Revdex.com from Ed ***, the first one was unfounded Ed has been a member since 12/13/and he has a year membership His complaint now is that we have Revdex.com signs up and we don't come up on the Revdex.com website Obviously, you know we are members of the
Revdex.com.In the weeks that Ed has been a member, Chicagoland Singles has referred ladies to him, followed up with ladies that he was interested in, provided photo shoots for him (the second one at no charge to him) and he has come in to the office times without an appointment and we have assisted him each time Ed emails at least twice a week threatening to go to the Revdex.com, AG, etcand Chicagoland Singles has gone above and beyond for him He complains about women not responding to him, but he had to be told to the ladies that selected him Ed still has one lady waiting for a response.We will continue to work with Ed and help him to be successful with the membership He just needs to be patient and stop making accusations, threatening us and looking for the negatives

Steve *** did come in to Chicagoland Singles on 1/24/ We ask all potential members to complete a Preliminary Screening Questionnaire upon arrival Mr*** did complete the questionnaire and signed it He is correct that he did not put his birthday our social
security number, but that is not necessary for a criminal or financial background checkWhere he did sign, it states:15.) In order to be considered for membership with Chicagoland Singles, I understand that a criminal background check will be conducted on me.16.) I also grant Chicagoland Singles permission to run a credit history as part of the screening process.I can scan and forward that to you if needed.The report was run on January 24, 2017, not days later I contacted Steve on Friday, he did not answer, so I left a message I also called him today on both his home and cell phones, no response I am more than happy to write a letter to have the credit inquiry removed for Steve I am waiting for his return call

Ed,I believe we have already covered this as of yesterday, but it is Chicagoland Singles policy to respond to all complaints.  You became a member with CLS on December 13, 2016.  You then came into the office on December 14, 2016 and talked with me again.  At that time you admitted...

that you were nervous and decided to stay with the membership.  Then on Friday you called the office and I was not in.  I spoke to you again on Monday, after I had emailed you a response to your 2 emails, when you came back into the office.  The State of Illinois has the 3 day right to rescind with a certified letter which is stated on the contract you signed, you did not do that.I know for a fact that you know Chicagoland Singles is NOT an escort service and you became a member of your own will.So, as I believe we left it yesterday in another email, we will see you Friday, December 23, 2016 for your photos and video.  We are all looking forward to helping you with your membership. Sincerely,Tracy [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: if someone is not going to use your service there is no reason to run any kind of background check.  Doing so can only lead to increased chance of identity theft and/or other nefarious activities.  Yes, the business did leave a message, but I have no desire to talk to anyone from a business that is involved in this type of activity.  It is a bad policy.  It may be legal, but definitely not moral.  My desire is to have the business stop running background checks on anyone that crosses their doors.

Re: [redacted] came into the Chicagoland Singles office on 4-6-2015 when he signed up for the VIP membership. He met with our representative for close to 2 hours, during which time the entire membership and...

cancellation policy was described to him. He signed the documents agreeing to the terms as written out in the contract, which states that in the case of a cancellation, "You may cancel this contract (and the Retail Installment Contract, if applicable) for any reason at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date on which the first service under the contract is available," which was 4-6-2015 when he was given all the materials necessary to start his membership. The cancellation policy also states that in order to cancel, "you must deliver in person, manually, or by certified mail, return receipt requested, the signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice of cancellation, or send a telegram, to Chicagoland Singles).

He did not follow the steps required by Illinois to cancel his membership. The agreement that [redacted] entered with our company was not a verbal agreement, and the written agreement signed states that we would have needed his request in writing in the time allotted to do so, which he did not do.

He claims that "he was basically conned into joining our service" - yet he freely admits
that he contacted our company voluntarily and scheduled an appointment to come in to the office at a time that was convenient for him. He also admits that our representative spent around one hour and forty five minutes with him. He had ample time to make an informed decision about joining our membership service and in addition to that - he had three business days to cancel after that.
He then states that he is unhappy with the photos and profile that we have posted of him. Let's be clear on this -[redacted]- provided us with a profile that he had written himself and he selected which pictures that he wanted to use from his photo / video session!
He can submit another profile anytime and if he is unhappy with the photos that he selected to place on our website - he can come back in and we will let him reselect the photos that he wants to use.
We have completed his background check and done personal "matching" for him as well based on his criteria.

He admits that one of our representatives spent close to an hour with him on the phone - and that she asked him to let us do our job and help him find someone. He admits that his response was simply that he wanted a refund.
He claims to also be unimpressed with the amount of women that we have for him to choose from - yet he has managed to find 7 potential matches in less than a month of being a member!!
We have delivered everything that was promised to him during his interview. We have reached out to him on numerous occasions...

We strongly encourage [redacted] to continue to utilize the membership. He is not entitled to a refund for the monies paid. He did not follow the policy as written by the state of Illinois and therefore, he cannot cancel his membership to Chicagoland Singles. . .



[redacted] is not entitled to a refund of any monies paid to this point as he signed a legal binding contract. His signatures are indication of such acknowledgement of all terms.

They are not providing customer service at all. Because I didn't have access to the website and didn't have my photos within 3 business days. Also I never selected my photos because they were taken and sent to me and that was it. I also haven't been on the website since the 1st day.
