Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am unable to send any larger file of pictures but here are the facts in more detail to prove our point and refute those of vendor: we contracted with vendor and was assured that the project would be no more that 5-weeks, the crew would stay on the job without interruption and that the sub contractors were people that worked with the vendor for "years" The project took over weeks, several delay due to "materials not being ordered or ordered incorrectly, complete redo of work in powder room and turnover of their staff the project started with the rip out of the powder room and subsequent remodel by Kelly and his sister The quality was so poor - misaligned sink, lighting, cabinet, toilet not installed correctly and leaking and poor wall prep and paint where old tear out lines could still be seen - that we called the owner in to look at the work He was surprised and disappointed I have all of the pictures taken John the owner indicated that all of the poor quality would be resolved and reviewed with the staff so as not to repeat He repeated several time that he would "make it right" The powder room was completely gutted once again except for the sink and completely redone with another new toilet, reset of the cabinets, reset of lights and mirror and complete skilling of walls and corresponding removal of several feed of caulk used in the cornersand new paint and trim The new crew was amazed by the shoddy work and had never seen caulk used in a way except for "section 8" housing After seeing the overall quality of the powder room we requested that Kelly and his sister no longer do any work on the master She did remove the wall paper and he did the tile work much to our dismay an direction to BI but other than that we did not have them on our job upstairs at our request The master bath rip out was done in such a rough manner that the subsequent workers had to spackle and repair the two outside walls to the bath The floor tile was not leveled with leveling compound and we have a significant slope in the bathroom The only fix was to put a metal spacer under the tub foot We have had another contractor look over the work and they conclude the floor could have reality been leveled and that the current condition was because the proper care was not takenwe are stuck with it unless we want to completely rip up the floor and start over There are four bathroom wall tiles that are not flush that need repair The soap dishes that were supposed to be affixed when the tiles were originally laid did not get installed Even after picking out a second solution (tiled soap dishes) they were not installed So we reluctantly went with exterior affixed standard dishes that are not sloped so water stands in them There is a large gap in sub floor between the bathroom and the closet where they cut out a portion of the floor when they were doing the demo There is a picture of this above This is a safety hazard The tile drain pan has been sealed with the wrong color caulk and needs to be replacedBoth shower heads are supposed to able to run together but they do not The wall valve was either not installed correctly or is faulty and needs repair Michael was personally made aware of this and has not been resolvedThe plantation shutters on master bath window are not leveled and need to be shaved so they close properly. We have pictures of all of the work needed completions well as pictures of the powder room that we shared with the owner We are moe than happy to share them with the Revdex.com.The estimate we have secured to repair the above issues is $ We kept the punch list money to date as the final work has not been completedWe felt that there was a real risk given their poor quality work and overall poor project management that they would walk away before completion and that is clearly what they have done In fact the crew on their last day intended to come back in the afternoon as they asked us for a lunch place recommendation and told us they would see us after their meal, After waiting several hours for their return it was clear that they would never return I called BI the same day in the early afternoon after the crew did not return only to be advised by Michael that the company had met its"contractual obligation" as we felt that we would find ourselves in this position with this vendor where they would refuse to complete the work so we withheld the monies knowing we would eventually have to do this ourselves We have done several remodels and have NEVER encountered a vendor with such issues with material coordination, scheduling, turnover of crew members and overall the poorest of quality of management that we have ever seenIF I had the time I would sue them for non performance and misrepresentation. To be fair a couple of their newest hires saved the day for them as those two did do good work As for Kelly and his sister, overall coordinator by front office was poor at best. Therefore, we want the dollar difference amount between punch list monies and estimate to complete work and all full warranty and materials that go with the equipment installedAs stated we have all pictures and a detailed chronology on the work to refute their claims that the work was a) done in a quality manner and b) was done fullyThank you Regards, [redacted]

I am writing with our second response to complaint # [redacted] between our company and Mr& Mrs [redacted] .We stick by what we said in our prior letterBoth bathrooms have been completed up to industry standardsAfter the powder room was completed, I stood in front of Mrs [redacted] and asked if she was satisfied with the qualityShe said yesI asked for final payment on the powder room ($835.63) and she said that was not going to happenShe said the powder room took too longWe do not have a clause in our contracts that allow for a late project financial penalty.Over the next several weeks we worked on their master bathPayments to us on that bathroom were not made in a timely manner and as of today, the final payment for the master bath ($739.18) has not been madeWe did some household repairs outside the scope of our contract, for free, to try and keep the [redacted] 's happy. We have moved on and do not expect final payment on either bathroom.Thank You, [redacted] , CPA, Accountant

I am
responding to complaint #*** made by *** *** on Monday, July 20,2015.Our contract with
*** *** was signed on April 15, 2015, however, her project start date was
on Monday, May 11, Our usual project length is to weeks, from the
project start dateAs of the week of
Monday, July 20, 2015, we are on week
of her project, not week Also, her contract price is $34,330.73, not
$35,330.73.As
for the days no one was on her project, our number one tile setter was on a
one week vacation with his family and unfortunately our number two tile setter
had a major ankle sprain.The
following circumstances are partly responsible for the extended project time:*** *** requested a double pain window with a blind in the middle for her shower areaUnfortunately, this was a special order item which took weeks from order to installation.Early in the project, after removing the old bathroom linoleum flooring, it was discovered that the subfloor was inadequate to support a new tile floorReplacing the subfloor is not normally done for our projects, and this added working days of labor.During the middle of the project, *** *** requested that we install an additional rain shower head in the shower, which was not in the original scope of workThese parts took one week to order, excluding installation. In general, our business survives on "word of mouth"
advertising and we do not like projects that extend past our to week
time frameUnfortunately, occasional delays are part of any construction
project.I do sympathize with
*** ***'s frustration and as of today, our number one tile setter is trying
to finish up her project, which is approximately 90% completed.*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The work in the powder room was substandard and had to be completely done by two other workers taking an added week.  I also sent pictures to John the owner of its poor quality so I fail to see how they think we thought it was a quality job.The master bath is still not completed and we have an estimate from our builder of 2500 to complete repairs.  We engaged our builder at the suggestion of BI.We have kept punch list money as we knew we would have additional work to be done due to their extremely poor quality.  The work is clearly pointed out and we have pictures that we've shared w Bath Inspirations.
We are happy to provide this to you as well. They have a rep for Misleading and poor quality.  We wished we had researched Revdex.com website before engaging and read the prior complaints that found their work to be poor and had to exercise ongoing quality control and supervision. We want to force this action so others do not have to go what we've gone through of 14 weeks of poor quality, slack standards and extended periods of disruption.

I am writing with
our second response to complaint #[redacted] between our company and Mr. &
Mrs. [redacted].We
stick by what we said in our prior letter. Both bathrooms have been completed
up to industry standards. After the powder room was completed, I stood in front of Mrs. [redacted] and asked if she was satisfied with the quality. She
said yes. I asked for final payment on the powder room ($835.63) and she said
that was not going to happen. She said the powder room took too long. We do not
have a clause in our contracts that allow for a late project financial penalty.Over
the next several weeks we worked on their master bath. Payments to us on that
bathroom were not made in a timely manner and as of today, the final payment
for the master bath ($739.18) has not been made. We did some household repairs
outside the scope of our contract, for free, to try and keep the [redacted]'s
happy.We
have moved on and do not expect final payment on either bathroom.Thank You,[redacted], CPA,

I am unable to send any larger file of pictures but here are the facts in more detail to prove our point and refute those of vendor:1.  we contracted with vendor and was assured that the project would be no more that 5-6 weeks, the crew would stay on the job without interruption and that the sub contractors were people that worked with the vendor for "years".  The project took over 15 weeks, several delay due to "materials not being ordered or ordered incorrectly, complete redo of work in powder room and turnover of their staff.2.  the project started with the rip out of the powder room and subsequent remodel by Kelly and his sister.  The quality was so poor - misaligned sink, lighting, cabinet, toilet not installed correctly and leaking and poor wall prep and paint where old tear out lines could still be seen - that we called the owner in to look at the work.  He was surprised and disappointed.  I have all of the pictures taken.  John the owner indicated that all of the poor quality would be resolved and reviewed with the staff so as not to repeat.  He repeated several time that he would "make it right".3.  The powder room was completely gutted once again except for the sink and completely redone with another new toilet, reset of the cabinets, reset of lights and mirror and complete skilling of walls and corresponding removal of several feed of caulk used in the corners. and new paint and trim.  The new crew was amazed by the shoddy work and had never seen caulk used in a way except for "section 8" housing.4.  After seeing the overall quality of the powder room we requested that Kelly and his sister no longer do any work on the master.  She did remove the wall paper and he did the tile work  much to our dismay an direction to BI but other than that we did not have them on our job upstairs at our request.5.  The master bath rip out was done in such a rough manner that the subsequent workers had to spackle and repair the two outside walls to the bath.6.  The floor tile was not leveled with leveling compound and we have a significant slope in the bathroom.  The only fix was to put a metal spacer under the tub foot.  We have had another contractor look over the work and they conclude the floor could have reality been leveled and that the current condition was because the proper care was not taken. we are stuck with it unless we want to completely rip up the floor and start over.  7.  There are four bathroom wall tiles that are not flush that need repair.8.  The soap dishes that were supposed to be affixed when the tiles were originally laid did not get installed.  Even after picking out a second solution (tiled soap dishes) they were not installed.  So we reluctantly went with exterior affixed standard dishes that are not sloped so water stands in them.9.  There is a large gap in sub floor between the bathroom and the closet where they cut out a portion of the floor when they were doing the demo.  There is a picture of this above.  This is a safety hazard.10.  The tile drain pan has been sealed with the wrong color caulk and needs to be replaced.11. Both shower heads are supposed to able to run together but they do not.  The wall valve was either not installed correctly or is faulty and needs repair.  Michael was personally made aware of this and has not been resolved.12. The plantation shutters on master bath window are not leveled and need to be shaved so they close properly. We have pictures of all of the work needed completions well as pictures of the powder room that we shared with the owner.  We are moe than happy to share them with the Revdex.com.The estimate we have secured to repair the above issues is $2500.  We kept the punch list money to date as the final work has not been completed. We felt that there was a real risk given their poor quality work and overall poor project management that they would walk away before completion and that is clearly what they have done  In fact the crew on their last day intended to come back in the afternoon as they asked us for a lunch place recommendation and told us they would see us after their meal,  After waiting several hours for their return it was clear that they would never return..  I called BI the same day in the early afternoon after the crew did not return only to be advised by Michael that the company had met its"contractual obligation" as we felt that we would find ourselves in this position with this vendor where they would refuse to complete the work so we withheld the monies knowing we would eventually have to do this ourselves.  We have done several remodels and have NEVER encountered a vendor with such issues with material coordination, scheduling, turnover of crew members and overall the poorest of quality of management that we have ever seen. IF I had the time I would sue them for non performance and misrepresentation. To be fair a couple of their newest hires saved the day for them as those two did do good work.  As for Kelly and his sister, overall coordinator by front office was poor at best. Therefore, we want the dollar difference amount between punch list monies and estimate to complete work and all full warranty and materials that go with the equipment installed. As stated we have all pictures and a detailed chronology on the work to refute their claims that the work was a) done in a quality manner and b) was done fully. Thank you.

I am writing you
concerning complaint #[redacted] between our company and Mr. & Mrs. [redacted].The
[redacted]'s live in a 150 year old farm house in Indian Hill, Ohio. They were told
that their powder room would take 2-3 weeks and their master bath, 4-6 weeks.
After the powder room was completed, I...

asked Mrs. [redacted] if she was satisfied
with the quality and she said yes. I asked for final payment on the powder room
($835.63) and she said that was not going to happen. She said the powder room
took too long. We do not have a clause in our contracts that allow for a late
project financial penalty.Over
the next several weeks we worked on their master bath. Payments to us on that
bathroom were not made in a timely manner and as of today, the final payment
for the master bath ($739.18) has not been made. We did some household repairs
outside the scope of our contract, for free, to try and keep the [redacted]'s
happy. Both bathrooms have been completed according to industry standards and
at this point we are not expecting final payment on either bathroom.Thank You,[redacted], CPAAccountant
