We purchased windows--two casement windows, one picture window and five double hung windows from Zen Windows The sales process was simple and straight forward The company owner, Dennis R***, answered all of my questions and explained the various options very wellThere was no pressure to buyThe bid was handled by e-mailThe person who came out to measure, Dale, had additional helpful suggestions which led to our decision to purchase casement windows for the kitchenThe pricing seemed reasonable, and I am very pleased with the quality of the windows The installers could not have been nicerEddie was very knowledgeable and professional His crew worked efficiently and left the work areas very clean We plan to replace our remaining windows in the next year and would not hesitate to use this company again In fact, I've already recommended them to someone today

Zen Windows is fantastic! They were prompt, professional, and did great work! They replaced a double window with a single pane and it looks fantastic inside and out. The framing was also perfect. We find ourselves just staring at our beautiful new window.

My wife and I own a home in Missouri that had 30 year old windows. They no longer opened easily and replacement parts were hard to find. In the spring of 2016 we decided to replace all 18 double hung windows. The choice of windows to purchase came down to price, quality, and color. We looked at several brands and found they did not offer many colors for vinyl and wood is not only expensive but we would have to be stain them. The windows being replaced are cherry (dark wood color). While searching the internet and reading reviews we came across Zen Windows of St Louis. I contacted Dennis and was quickly provided a quote via email. The price was the best of the windows considered thus far so I asked how I could see the windows. A representative came to our home with sample windows and measured our existing windows. The color was perfect and the windows are very easy to open and close. They tilt in for easy cleaning and there is a half screen which does not obstruct your view when looking out the upper half of the window. Our windows have two locks and vent latches. There is argon gas between the panes and the windows come with a lifetime guarantee. Two installers did the installation and completed all the work on the inside of the house on the first day. On the second day they completed the outside. They covered all the floors and cleaned up on the inside and outside. They were polite and the installation came out beautiful. My wife and I immediately noticed the new windows block sound from outside and our home is quieter. Doing business with Dennis and his team was a wonderful experience and the windows are quality products that are reasonably priced. If you are in the market for windows give them a chance to earn your business.

Zen Windows recently installed 3 bedroom windows for our family. The whole experience was great! Definitely not a "high pressure sales" type of company - which is wonderful. They took time to answer all of our questions and were very friendly. Prompt with returning phone calls. Installation was timely and professional. I will definitely use them for future projects!!

My nearly 100-year-old house needed all of it's original windows on the main floor replaced. Zen Windows replaced 11 windows, covered an old window that had been closed in on the inside of the house and capped 2 small stained glass windows and a glass block window. They followed the guidelines for replacing windows in an old house (i.e. lead paint precautions/containment) and left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived.
I found Zen Windows on Angie's List and Revdex.com, and added them to my list of several companies I would get estimates from. I emailed Dennis with a couple of upfront questions I had, and the response time was the best response time I've had from any company I've ever worked with. This amazing responsiveness continued throughout the whole process, and really shows how much they care about your project and your satisfaction not only with the finished product, but the entire experience.
The first quote I got was from Zen Windows, because for the other quotes I actually had to schedule a time to have someone come out to my house. I had a quote from Zen Windows within 10 minutes of requesting one. I had a great feeling about the company, and I was hoping that I would get to work with them, but I did my due diligence and received several other quotes. Zen Windows wasn't the cheapest, but they were very reasonably priced, and after researching online, I found that the cheaper quotes I had received were for a lower quality of windows. From my experience up to that point with Dennis and the research I had done, I was extremely confident in my decision to go with Zen Windows.
Dale came out to measure my windows, and he pointed out the additional capping (stained glass and glass block windows) I would probably want and suggested I also cover up the window that was closed off from the inside. I was prepared for these extras to add to the total cost of the project, but the cost I was quoted originally is what I ended up paying. This was just one example of how Zen Windows clearly wants to make the experience easy for their customers, and never make them feel like there are hidden costs.
About 4 weeks after the order was placed, Dennis called me to tell me my windows were ready, and we set up an installation time for a few days later. After working with Dennis and Dale, I had no concerns with meeting the installers at the beginning of the day and then heading to work and leaving them to do the installation. The heat index was over 100 degrees, and the installers worked all day and even into the evening when it ended up taking longer than expected. Despite being at my house later than planned, they still took the time to clean up to the point where I wouldn't have been able to tell they were there except that it was cleaner than normal.
I instantly loved my new windows! They look fantastic both inside and outside. And right away I could tell how much quieter it was in my house. I live near an interstate, so I'm used to hearing traffic now and then. I couldn't hear a thing! I hadn't realized how noisy it was inside my house until I got the new windows and could tell such a difference. I can also tell that my air conditioner is having an easier time keeping the house cool in the recent heat.

Great experience from beginning to end. It is so nice to work with such a wonderful company with great customer service. Looking forward to doing future business with Zen. 100% satisfied.
