We wanted to replace 8 new windows (6 double hung and 2 sliders). After narrowing our options to two companies and just looking at price, we decided we didn't like either--for both the pushy sales strategy of each, a lack of responsiveness on important issues for us, and finally messing around with the numbers in a way that seems a little questionable.
We scrambled and found Zen Windows on Angie's. Mak answered the phone even as he was settling in on his first day of vacation. I sent him my own measurements and he gave me a quick ballpark price before sending Dave out to measure. After a final quote and a look at the materials, we were sold that Zen was our choice.
The install was done by Dave and John, a rock star team who had the largest window ripped out within 10 minutes of pulling into our driveway.
They worked quick, relatively quiet, and left little mess...and our new windows have transformed our house.
