In August of the homeowner contracted with our firm for the installation of a new chimney liner and two-stage variable speed high efficiency furnace, thermostat control, carbon monoxide system, etcthrough a financing programThe homeowner indicated they were receiving multiple proposalsOur contract reflects the new system would utilize the existing ductworkThe variable speed blower motor in the furnace is capable of continuous operation and is designed to help eliminate temperature stratification in the home In December of a proposal was submitted for additional ductworkIn January of a written Comfort Agreement was offered for services requested: (a) central air conditioning; (b) whole home humidifier; (c) duct cleaning; (d) new supply line to 2nd floor bedroom; (e) new supply line to kitchenThe cost of each was itemized separatelyNone of that work scope was contracted through our Company between that date and the most recent service visit Service at Issue At the request of the homeowner our offices dispatched a technician to their home on December 12,The stated concern was that the furnace air filters were excessively dirty and, upon replacement, quickly became dirty againThe conversation was reviewed and our representative did advise of the applicable service fees in advance of the visitThe amount referenced by the homeowner Is the standard the service call fee together with the applicable State and County taxes After the visit the homeowners called and emailed to express their concerns regarding the service feeAgain, this fee was stated In advance of the visitDue to the outdoor weather conditions is was a time of exceptionally high call volumeThe homeowners preference was to have the call completed sooner rather than faterAccordingly, this appointment was set up as a service visit, not a cleaning The technicians notes indicated that client wanted to receive additional information on duct cleaning and ductworkDue to the clients concerns we offered to deduct the amount of the service call fee paid against the duct cleaning, installation of additional ducting or maintenance on the heating system (every manufacturer suggests annual maintenance)Further, it was agreed to honor the pricing quoted approximately months priorThat offer will be maintained through the resolution of the instant matter Thank you in advance for your time and consideration Respectfully submitted, [redacted]
Bill and Kurt from Zenner and Ritter replaced my the aging gas pipes in my basement and separated the gas supply for the upper and lower apartmentsBill and Kurt were very friendly, helpful, and professional and I am very happy with the work they didZenner and Ritter worked with me to find a solution that was affordable for me and that satisfied my needsZ & R have worked for me before on several occasions and I was always very satisfied with the quality of their work and the professional manner in which they conduct their business
I have now had Zenner & Ritter install a whole-house generator, a tankless hot water heater, a new sump pump and backup system and in each case, after doing a lot of research on my own, I find that they provide excellent service and product for the cost of the product and installation I have also taken advantage of their maintenance program on two of the items and have been extremely pleased with the thoroughness of their work The technicians go out of their way to answer any questions you have, to me that is an indication of great customer service and knowledge of the products they sell

We discovered water on our basement floor on Sunday, July Not only was it a Sunday afternoon, but on a holiday weekend We called Zenner and Ritter emergency service and someone actually answered the phone Within a short time we were connected with a service rep who was working that day, Tim S Tim called and when I explained the problem, he said I could probably fix it myself if I felt able to do it Since we were having people over the next day, I didn't want to take a chanceSo, I requesteded to check all the other he come over anyway He told me up front the minimum it would costHe came within an hour and fixed the problem (with our A/C unit) I could not have asked for a better experience considering the circumstances After unclogging a tube - which he told me had caused the leak - he proceeded to check all the other possible sources of trouble Very friendly and courteous And he only charged us the minimum service charge If for no other reason than this, I would highly recommend Zenner & Ritter
I called Zenner & Ritter in the morning and they sent Greg out before the end of the day Greg was efficient and friendly He assessed the problem and had it fixed in about minutes I would definitely call them again
The representative showed up when he said he would, on timeHe worked thoroughly and efficiently, and cleaned up after the jobHe provided advice about two small problems, was very pleasant
