I am rejecting this response because: First of all, I'm sorry for responding after days. The bottom line is that the salesman and I referred to a total price that we agreed to and which he wrote on the contract. If the salesman instructs one to initial anywhere, it is his duty to inform one of what the addtional costs may be and to explain this to the customer. This he did not do. I was comparing cost estimates with other companies and their written estimates included jack hammering. If I had known that besides our verbal price agreement, there would be caveats that would have gone above the other quotes I received for the exact type of material, I would never have signed a contract with your company. With regards to the xinch posts, the salesman specifically wrote only x inch posts. The gates installed do not require x inch posts. This is a residential fence, not a street side fence. No where in any house in the *** or *** gated communities are there x 3" inch posts for fences alongside x inch post for the rest of the wrought iron fence. These posts were never brought up nor are they shown in the contract. You cannot impose a look on the wrought iron fence that is not agreed to by the customer
