Zeringue's Park Place Tire & Auto

Review: I have used Park Place several times over the years. On Friday morning, 12/11/2015, I dropped my car off for a tire replacement, alignment, balance, and oil change. When I dropped the car off, it only had a few visual defects: a few minor scratches on the rims, a broken fog light from road debris, and some bug blemishes on the front bumper. It was totally free of dents and impact marks of any type.

That afternoon, I went to pick-up the car around 430pm. It was parked on the opposite side of Tchoupitoulas facing me (when I walked up, I did not see the rear of the car -- I was also focused on crossing a busy Tchoupitoulas in near 5pm traffic at dusk safely). I drove straight home from picking the car up and parked in front of my neighbors car for the night. It was dark when I got home; however, the next morning in bright sunlight, when I approached my car from behind, I saw a very pronounce dent in the trunk to the right of the license plate, and a point of impact on the corner of the bumper below and to the right. My neighbor's car was free of any impact marks. I have photos to prove this.

I immediately drove to Park Place to show [redacted], but I didn't think to check their weekend hours (closed Saturday and Sundays). In an effort to get documentation date and time-stamped, I called my insurance company and made a claim. On Monday morning, I called Park Place and told [redacted] there was damage done to the vehicle while under his care. He indicated I should bring it by and let him have a look. When I arrived, [redacted] said nothing happened to the car under his care, and his insurance was not going to cover it.

Given the fact my car went into [redacted]'s care with no such damage, and I picked it up and drove it straight home with my neighbor's car parked behind it (his car did not move before I noticed the damage) and the fact I noticed the damage immediately in the light of day on Saturday morning, I am certain this damage occurred to my vehicle on the premises of Park Place while under their care.Desired Settlement: I would like Park Place tire to have my car fixed at their cost and have the trunk and bumper returned to their original, un-damaged state. I'm happy to get estimates, or even use a body shop of Park Place's choosing (assuming it is reputable of course).
