Dec 2, 2017 - Zero Rez of Tampa: We ordered their "No Chemicals" service as they advertised on the radio. Keep in mind our house is only a year old. The first thing the technician said when he walked in is that we'll need chemicals to clean. We said that the commercial and the person who took our order said that only water and pressure is used. After the area was cleaned we called back because there were some minor stains that were still present after the cleaning. With some push back from Zero Rez, they agreed to send the technician out. From the start, the technician was rude and continued to be rude the 10 minutes he was there. My wife had to ask him to leave because he was becoming belligerent with her. I stepped in and told him that we were told we would need no chemicals to clean our carpet that is one year old. My wife feels that she was lied to by Zero Rez. The technician drove by our house 2 times, after the incident, taking pictures of the outside of our house, all of which I have recorded on my video cameras. We've tried to call them for them to honor their guarantee and they will not return our call. Zero Rez guarantee is they will pay to have another company clean the carpet and buy the customer dinner (102.5 Radio FM). We just want our money back.

Mr. & Mrs. were given a full refund plus a gift certificate for dinner at the restaurant of the choice for the issues. Unfortunately the technician did not handle things in the most professional manner when the customer was not happy over the fact that the urine treatment was not included in the basic cleaning. We are taking steps on our end to ensure that there is no miscommunication going forward so the customer is completely aware before the technician arrives that the 3 room special includes a regular Zero Residue cleaning and any pet urine deep in the pad of the carpet requires an additional deep extraction on that focused spot. The way the technician handled it is not our standard of service that we train all team member to give and for the we apologize. To our knowledge Mr. & Mrs. were satisfied with the resolution.

Their guarantee is that if you are not satisfied with the results, they will fix it for free, or, you won't pay. They refuse to finish fixing it.
We hired Zerorez to come clean our carpets. We had three rooms done for $129. We also bought a couple of extra services (stain removal for a few tough spots and a scotch guard type treatment for protection from future stains). The carpets looked pretty good at first, but, as it dried, several large, dark circles started appearing. We called them and they came out to try to fix it. After this second attempt, it looked a lot worse. So, the supervisor came out with a special cleaning solution that worked very well. Upon leaving, she told us to call them if any spots were missed and they would fix it (as is their guarantee). I was very pleased with their service thus far. However, I then called back to tell them that they had missed two big and one small spot the living room, and asked if they would please come get the last couple of spots. The lady was not too happy and said that I just needed to buy an oxidizer at the store (which would be quite costly for the spots that need removing) and take them out myself. That they would not be coming back unless we paid another $129. I do not believe that I should have to put more money into something that I paid them, and they promised, to do. I appreciate all that they have done so far. However, I do expect that they should live up to their own guarantee and "fix it for free until it is fixed" or "if we're not satisfied, we don't pay." Either would be fine.

I expect that they should have to live up to their guarantee and either 1) come finish the job for free or 2) not charge us for the job.

When cleaning the customer's carpet brown spots came up from the pad under the carpet. We did a flash extraction and the issue got worse because it brought all the dirt from the pad to the surface. We have gone back and re-cleaned at no charge and also gave the customer a bottle of the oxidizer.

Customer Response

They came back and recleaned but a couple of the stains are still there. They said that they would come back until they got them all, but now they say that they won't. The bottle of oxidizer that they gave us to finish the job barely had any left in it and is not nearly enough to finish those stains.
