I am writing to tell you what happened with a snowmobile customer.I recieved a call from this gentleman wanting to rent single snowmobiles for a hour ride.I told him that we were booked for the day,he was very insistent that he would take anything we had as he is a hotshot mechanic and it didn't matter if it was new or the oldest one we had,just so long as they could ride.I then told him we would call back if someone canceled,and he then called back more times within a couple of hours.Well as it turns out someone did cancel,and we had snowmobiles to rent to him.He never said he wanted a 2up,he wanted his girlfriend to drive her own as she had never been snowmobiling before.They came and rented the sleds that we had for them.Well it started with his girlfriend complaining that she had to use the restroom,and seeing as we don't have one they had to go down to the tavern first.The gentleman wasn't very happy that they had to waste time doing that but off they went.They did eventually come back after about hrs ,going over there time by an hour.The girl did say that her snowmobile was a little hard to handle,but that wasn't the worst part.As this was her first time riding she was a little slow and her boyfriend was yelling at her the whole way that she needed to ride faster.He then went so fast that she lost him at one point and drove off the trail and had to turn the machine around herself as her boyfriend was nowhere around.He must have come back looking for her,then hollered at her again.When they got back to the shop and she told me what happened,swearing at him all the while,I told her that the fishtailing sometimes happens,depending on the trail conditions and your skis.I then said I would ask [redacted] when he returned if he would give her a discount seeing as she had some problems.I did tell her that I also had the same problem once,but that was because the ski was broke.I took down all the payment info and while I was doing that they were still arguing,then they left[redacted] came back a little while later and I told him what just happened and he said he never had a problem with the machine that she used.In fact it was rented out that same morning with no complaints.They came back and proceeded to tell [redacted] that the machine was not riding right,and getting very cocky about it My name is [redacted] and I own the rental store in questionI have run this business to the best of my ability for yearsThis is the first problem with a customer turning me in to the Revdex.com 1) Customer called for a sled and said he didnt care how old it was or anythingHe just had to have one.Said he very mechanical 2) I gave him the only sleds I had left (due to a Cancellation) 3) the machines he had were out the previous day with no problems,but were still checked out prior to them going out on Saturday 4) I did raise my voice at the customer, which I know I shouldn't haveBut he acted like he knew everything about snowmobiles and in reality he didn't know anything 5) After the customer left I took the machine for a minute ride with NO problemsI brought machine into shop and checked the rear suspension and front suspension and the track and all were as I thought,OK 6) There are never machines that handle or ride or drive the sameSome Have longer tracks, some have inches of travel in the suspension and some have inches of travelAll single person sleds are set up for the average size personIt would be physically impossible to adjust each machine for each renter I have 7) I have rented the above mentioned machine out times since this incident, with out any problems I am a very easy going person and will try to help anybody I canBut this gentleman was just looking for a monetary discount or more time on the machinesIf they were so bad why would you want them longer???? 8) I am not going to or feel that I have to refund any part of their payment 9) Some people you just can't please no matter what!! 10) I would have not been in business this long if I treated customers like he said I did Sincerely, [redacted]

My name is [redacted] and I own the rental store in question. I have run this business to the best of my ability for 30 years. This is the first problem with a customer turning me in to the Revdex.com.

All single person sleds are set up for the average size person. It would be physically impossible to adjust each machine for each renter I have.

I am a very easy going person and will try to help anybody I can. But this gentleman was just looking for a monetary discount or more time on the machines. If they were so bad why would you want them longer????
