The client's complaints that [redacted] did not perform the Brazilian blowout are inaccurate. After a lengthy consultation with [redacted] and also overseen by the ** of the salon, [redacted]. It was determined that she would perform the service carefully as [redacted]'s hair condition was fragile and...

we did not want to damage it further.
[redacted] spoke to [redacted] and they agreed that we would re-do the service in 10 days. [redacted] has called her to re-schedule it but he has not been able to get in touch with her.
Brazilian Keratin treatments consists of a solution applied then flat ironing the hair numerous times in order to seal the solution in the hair's shaft and achieving a smooth texture to the hair. We do have to be careful with the flat ironing of the hair when the condition of the hair is fragile as the temperature of the iron is high.
We stand by our services and we are willing to redo the service and probably deliver more ironing of the hair in order to achieve [redacted] desired results.

This is in response to your letter dated Wednesday, November **,2014.Contrary to [redacted] accusation that [redacted] is not certified by Brazilian Blowout is false and we have a certificate of completion by them, when a number of our technicians were trained with the product. I will be happy to provide such certificate with also the instructor name.We will not refund any money as we have done twice the procedure and [redacted] continues to accuse out technicians of wrong doing when they see hundreds of clients and never have any complaints. We can provide you with testimonial letters of clients of [redacted] that get this service and know that he is a professional technician We have referred [redacted] to a Brazilian Blowout representative as a courtesy and our close relation to the company and also to try and solve [redacted] concerns.

Review: Hair dresser [redacted] at Salon Ziba Midtown perfromed a Brazilian Blowout and I paid $300 - it was supposed to be the entire head and length of my hair. She did not perform the service as it is supposed to -only one inche roots were complete as trained certified brazilian blowout stylist would have (see video [redacted]) but instead only washed my one inch of my roots with clarifiying shampoo twice, and the solution only applied to roots. Shen tossed my fragile previous treated hair in the blow dryer like tumble weed, and proceeded to flat iron only the one inch or roots with the correct temperature to heat seal the product in and used another iron at the not recommended temperature on the full lenght of my hair, which was not properly protected with the protien based solution, and results were awful to the whole of my hair. She also did not properly rinse the solution from the crown area as she is supposed to and I requested and I looked awful.Desired Settlement: I really would like my money back with the $45 tip I left- I was upset and I didnt relealze exactly what happened until I was half way home. I was upset and she hugged me and I really wanted to cry. I would consider having it fixed by someone else, I am only really not sure because from my experience, this was not the proper prodecure as required by Brazilian Blowout and I want my hair done properly by a certified and license stylist who is skilled and can perform the procedure properly with good results.

Although I do like the items, and [redacted] did a very meticulous neat performance of the service, it was not properly heat sealed and the results are as if there is no brazilan blow out in the hair and its all frizzy and rough and hard to manage. I had to used half the tube of that conditioner to wash my hair. only the hair by the crown area/bang, where he used a different iron, seemed to take. the rest is as if there was nothing in my hair, and he used a different clarifiying shampoo which was not Brazilian Blowout brand as recommended, as was one of the first questions I asked the original stylist [redacted]. Becuase I understadn from speaking to the Brazilian Blowout company, that shamppo keeps previous treatments in,while removing only the residue. Any other generic clarifying shampoo removes everything, including previous treatments which have held my hair together. it susppoed to me a building system where is gets better and better every time. Not stsrting from scratch, because my hair is extremely delicate. That was one of my big priorities. Another was, when I came in I ask [redacted] if they use the Brazilian Blowout iron too. She said yes. Later after my clarifying shampoo I found out not, and she told me if I had a complaint to tell [redacted]. Of course in that position of having my hair with a stripping shampoo and her about to perform a service or not, I couldnt quite make a fuzz. [redacted] too used another iron which was "better for the environment "- I dont think the tempertature he determined was enough to seal the product. I am not here with pratically no product in my hair, worst than I was before. I was trying ot be very careful about this- and still. I'm not happy with the results.
