Does not Honor Warranty
We bought a used vehicle and we are now the the 2nd owner. The Zeibart warranty is transferable to the second owner. I called the location after our purchase, gave them the VIN and other information and was informed by Mike, that we were covered. We had the vehicle's annual service done within 60 days of purchase from a local Ford dealer. We had the vehicle serviced under the warranty as per the warranty instructions after we purchased the vehicle (twice: once last year and then recently). We also had some other items repaired under the warranty. When we had a rust claim, the management denied the claim because they said we were not under warranty. The vehicle was serviced and under precedent since they covered items under warranty, they should have honored the claim, but they denied the claim. It was denied by. Their 'Rust Committee", whomever they were. The regional manager, Aaron, director of sales, found an excuse to not honor the warranty and we have now escalated this to corporate and to the court system...if they honor the repair, I will change my review.

[redacted] ***, Sales Manager, spoke with [redacted] on March 17, and explained to him that the Paint Protection Film he purchased for his bumper is in fact installed correctlyThe film is cut using the cut out program supplied by E***Patterns are based on each individual make and model, so cut outs are not all exactly the same [redacted] received what he paid for and his bumper is being protected by the film that he purchasedAttached is a copy of the pattern for his truck's bumper [redacted] also explained to him, that if the film was removed, there is a good chance that some of the paint could peel off, s*e the film adheres to the paint

I've spoken with Mr [redacted] on few occasions in regards to his concernsI explained that there was clearly a miscommunication as to the time of completion for services, as it takes hours for truck preparation to spray a [redacted] Liner and approximately hours to complete the jobMr [redacted] was also having Rust Protection done, which typically takes approximately hours on its own, with all services combined, this would make for a day trip at our facilityI've reached out to Mr [redacted] and sent him a gas card for his inconvenienceAfter receiving this letter, I've sent a gift certificate valued at $300, in which I feel will satisfy his concern and exceed his expectation

Customer service is so important to us here at ZiebartThe top pillars of our company vision are: top quality work and customer satisfactionWe have the utmost skilled technicians performing these servicesWhen dealing with older vehicles like this one "years old", it's not out of the ordinary for a car to have broken/ fragile partsOur technicians DO NOT use, nor do they have access to super glue, there aren't any services performed at Ziebart that requires super glueMy Sales Manager met with Mr [redacted] days after services were done, he stated that his friend "pulled on the door handle and it broke"We have on the average, ecstatic customer's a week, every once in a while, there will be an issue, when that does happen, as the person that handles those situations, I can tell you that if we thought there was any chance that we caused this issue, we would take care of itAt this point, we truly do not believe that there is any fault or any responsibility on our part

I spoke with [redacted] on Monday, 6/15/I apologized for the miscommunication on our partI explained the services that she received, she said she was pleased with the work done, just expected more when it came down to the deeper scratches, I let her know that those scratches would require more along the lines of body work, versus buffing and she understood, I also refunded her a portion of her bill, she was happy by the end of our conversationCornelia TManager Ziebart of Syracuse

I am not sure what the complaint isThe customer called my manager Misty and threatened to drive his pickup through the window of our showroomThe width of his truck, a "dually" did not fit in our tint boothHe granted permission to take the vehicle to our other locationWe did, we tinted the vehicle perfectly and returned it to himThe only beef he seems to have is that a small door, wrapped in a packing rag was put inside his bed - which has a plastic bedlinerWe offered to remove it and he said noI see absolutely no harm and no foulHe said his lawyer advised him and I, after he unreasonably threatened to drive the truck through our showroom, suggested the attorney call, so I could have a rational discussionOther than removing the door, (happily), I see no need of additional remediationThank you, CL., CEO
