I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]My complaint only relates to issues that existed at the time of purchase of which [redacted] had to be aware but did not inform us or repair.  We agreed on a sales price based on our knowledge and acceptance that there was:Marred upholsteryDents in the front fender flareScratches on the hoodScrape on the rear fenderDamage on the rear of the roofDent on the tailgateCorrosion on the spareA trim piece was missing.  As part of the negotiation, we asked that a $7 trim piece be replaced.  They ordered and sent it only after we followed up on its late delivery.  We installed it.This was “as is” from my perspective.  They were all I knew about.  My complaint did not include these items.  It was restricted to the 6 items that needed repair or replace at the time of purchase that [redacted] had to know about but did not tell me.  If that practice is acceptable from a dealership, one should never pay a premium to buy from a reputable dealer rather than from a private seller since I am responsible for discovering all existing problems.After we purchased the vehicle 2 additional problems came to our attention:Malfunction of the catalytic converterMalfunction of the fuel delivery systemThese issues arose a couple of weeks after purchase.   But I did not include them in my complaint because I thought [redacted] might very well not have been aware of them.  I take issue with the assertion that I requested that 2 items be repaired.  There was only 1, the trim piece listed above.  After the first test drive, we smelled an overheated caliper and pointed it out to the sales person.  [redacted], recognized the problem and proceeded to replace the caliper.  I did not request it at all, much less as a condition for purchasing the vehicle.  We were not in negotiations to purchase the vehicle at the time and I certainly did not offer to purchase if the repair was made.  I am not even sure that we indicated to [redacted] at the time that we would return for a second test drive.  [redacted] must have decided on their own to make the repair because it was an obvious problem that would dissuade any potential buyer from buying the vehicle.   However, when we did return for a second test drive, the repair had be made.I think my initial complaint, as stated is fair, not attributing responsibility to [redacted] for items of which I was aware or of which [redacted] may not have been aware at the time of purchase.Regards,

Our General Manager, [redacted], is working with the customer to resolve this issue. All the issues with the vehicle are covered under the manufactures warranty and the customer will not be charged.Unfortunately with all vehicle purchases we can not exchange the vehicle but all repairs will be...

I have taken my vehicle to Zimmer to let them repair the defect which should not have been sold to me without showing me this issue of the brand new vehicle. I Am and have been very stressed worrying about having to have my vehicle in the shop. It should not of been sold to me as a $29000.00 perfect vehicle if it by no means wasn't.
