I am rejecting this response because:The information is incorrect and Dan Z*** is just trying to cover up for his negligence He presented an estimate for repairs to my insurance company, which he felt would fix the issue, which was sugar in the gas tank They presented specific repairs to ***, nothing more and nothing less *** of course approved all repairs because the car had coverage for vandalism When I picked up the car on July 2015, I smelled gasoline all throughout the car, inside and outside Since I had picked up the car as they were closing, I called Dan the next morning and explained to him what I found He told me the mechanic probably spilled some gas and to just leave the windows down for a couple of days and the smell would go away I didn't feel good about the repair so I called the next day again and asked if he could take a look at it over the weekend Dan claimed they were going to be closed for the weekend and to bring it by next weekend and they would look at it....and reassured me it was probably just spilt gas and again reminded me to leave the windows down He seemed sincere in knowing it was probably something minor, like spilled gas so I figured it was no problem waiting On July 2015, I was filling up my car and noticed gas leaking under my car At this point, I realized Zimmerman Auto had no business working on my car I called *** and took my car to Audi *** confirmed a botched repair and so did my insurance company, stating in fact that they wouldn't help in covering a second repair because I was the one who choose to take it to Zimmerman and they botched the repair Even the insurance adjustor confirmed what *** had found, that in order to fully repair the car and rid it of sugar, they had to of replaced the gas tank because there was no way to rid the car of all the sugar In fact, *** found that Zimmerman didn't even attempt to remove the gas tank to work on it correctly, since they never replaced it, even showing me pictures Dan continues to lie and I'm sure he's ashamed that his shop did a poor repair and claims I was ripped off, when *** and *** both agree the repair was done incorrectly What would two completely different companies have in gaining by agreeing to the botched repair Dan claims I threatened him, but has no explanation of how I threatened him, in fact I actually videotaped him cursing at me, the customer in his own shop after confronting him about his negligenceIf they would have known exactly how to repair this type of damage and presented the correct estimate to ***, my insurance company would have had no problem approving the repair, plain and simple Dan proves once again that when he's in charge, the customer is never right! Just Dan Z***

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The information is incorrect and Dan Z[redacted] is just trying to cover up for his negligence.  He presented an estimate for repairs to my insurance company, which he felt would fix the issue, which was sugar in the gas tank.  They presented specific repairs to [redacted], nothing more and nothing less.  [redacted] of course approved all repairs because the car had coverage for vandalism.  When I picked up the car on July 8 2015, I smelled gasoline all throughout the car, inside and outside.  Since I had picked up the car as they were closing, I called Dan the next morning and explained to him what I found.  He told me the mechanic probably spilled some gas and to just leave the windows down for a couple of days and the smell would go away.  I didn't feel good about the repair so I called the next day again and asked if he could take a look at it over the weekend.  Dan claimed they were going to be closed for the weekend and to bring it by next weekend and they would look at it....and reassured me it was probably just spilt gas and again reminded me to leave the windows down.  He seemed sincere in knowing it was probably something minor, like spilled gas so I figured it was no problem waiting.  On July 15 2015, I was filling up my car and noticed gas leaking under my car.  At this point, I realized Zimmerman Auto had no business working on my car.  I called [redacted] and took my car to Audi.  [redacted] confirmed a botched repair and so did my insurance company, stating in fact that they wouldn't help in covering a second repair because I was the one who choose to take it to Zimmerman and they botched the repair.  Even the insurance adjustor confirmed what [redacted] had found, that in order to fully repair the car and rid it of sugar, they had to of replaced the gas tank because there was no way to rid the car of all the sugar.  In fact, [redacted] found that Zimmerman didn't even attempt to remove the gas tank to work on it correctly, since they never replaced it, even showing me pictures.  Dan continues to lie and I'm sure he's ashamed that his shop did a poor repair and claims I was ripped off, when [redacted] and [redacted] both agree the repair was done incorrectly.  What would two completely different companies have in gaining by agreeing to the botched repair.  Dan claims I threatened him, but has no explanation of how I threatened him, in fact I actually videotaped him cursing at me, the customer in his own shop after confronting him about his negligence. If they would have known exactly how to repair this type of damage and presented the correct estimate to [redacted], my insurance company would have had no problem approving the repair, plain and simple.  Dan proves once again that when he's in charge, the customer is never right!  Just Dan Z[redacted].
