To whom it may concern:Re: complaint ID: 11097104We received the above complaint on January 25th We contacted the customer referenced in the complaint on the same day (1/25th/2016) in order to address his allegationsThe customer promised to meet us before the end of the day but never showed upWe met the next day (26th) and agreed to mutually void the transaction at settled amount of $We made him aware that his complaint to Revdex.com was made in bad faith and it was riddled with unfortunate misreprentations and even outright lies. For example he claimed that, "The car was at Zion for two weeks" when in fact he dropped the car off at the end of the business day on the 10thWe replaced a leaking high pressure line on the AC, replaced faulty hood support and also fixed his Lexus emblem that had been vandalized while he had the carAll this was done as a courtesy at no charge to him even though he claims that, "they fixed it and I was told they were not liable." Furthermore his car was done was done on the 14th; two days after it was dropped off, and not two weeks later as he asserts per our text message communications on recordHe claimed that ''it was a car (when it was a 1997)This is also because we clearly told him that the car was a both on the pink slip (PA MVform), and on his bill of saleBoth documents showed the year make and model plus VIN number of the vehicleHe further claimed that "I was told I could a warranty." when we clearly explained to the customer that the car was sold "AS IS" with no warranty; also clearly shown on the bill of sale. But we made him aware that he could purchase warranty within thirty days of purchase given that he didn't have additional funds to do so on the day of purchaseNote that he conveniently decided to come to the shop on the 30th day after purchase which also happened to be new year's eve at 4pm"On Dec 31, I went to his shop around 4pm to purchase a warranty and was told that he was out of town." Not only did he choose to come over on New Year's Eve, but we closed the shop at noon so there was no one to tell him that we were out of town by 4pmFinally, the customer claimed that " I took the car to Meineke on Jan3, and was told..." We asked him to provide us with paperwork from Meineke (which is standard procedure for any assessment) to prove this wild assertion but he had noneWe can't imagine any mechanic worth his salt claiming that, "if the positive side of the battery moved enough to touch the positive receptor the car would stop accelerating and this was a risk for a crash." This sentence doesn't make any mechanical sense and no reputable mechanic at Meineke would claim so(positive....positive receptor??)Finally, he claimed that he wanted a disputed amount of $when he only gave us $2000.We are a very small dealership so we take care to ensure that we serve our customers with integrity and utmost respectWe have commanded excellent reputation for as long as we have been in business because our customers are the backbone of our growthThis is an unfortunate situation that should never have escalated this far had the customer come to us in good faith because we indeed went out of our way to accommodate him wheneve he had an issue even though we sold the car 'AS IS.' We voided this transaction because he gave us an ultimatum, to either let him keep the car for the $or refund his moneyWe know it is a good vehicle so we chose to keep the car and refund him $after he kept the car for close to two months, used it for long distance travel, and had it vandalizedSincerely Paul M***

Review: I purchased the vehicle from Zion Auto Group on Dec. 1, 2015. Immediately after the purchase, the power steering chamber was leaking. The car was with Zion for two weeks. After getting it back, the exhaust was messed up. I was told the vehicle was safe, that it was a 1998 car (when it was 1997), and I was told that I could get a warranty. On Dec. 31, 2015 I went to his shop around 4 p.m. to purchase a warranty and was told that he was out of town. I returned the car and they fixed it and I was told they are not liable. I took the vehicle to Meineke on Jan. 3, 2016 and was told that there is still a power steering leak, the exhaust was not properly repaired, and the battery was too small--- if the positive side of the battery moved enough to touch the positive receptor the car would stop accelerating and this was a risk for a crash. On Jan. 10, 2016 the car window unexpectedly dropped and was unable to be rolled up. I called business owner Paul Mwambu on his cell phone, texted him, and emailed him and he was unresponsive and did not return my call.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $2,200. This includes the money I used as a down payment for the vehicle of the vehicle and does not include the maintenance and supplies (power steering fluid purchase).
