attention, we conduct the following process to investigate facts of damageWe review our CC camera system to view if our wash equipment is operating properly with no equipment malfunctions and to confirm customer date and time of serviceWe then review vehicles before and vehicles after customer to verify is any like/ similar damage may have occurred to other vehiclesWe have verified that our equipment was operating properly and like damage did not occur to the vehicles before or after customerIn fact, we had no other Chevrolet Silverado’s that day which experienced the same issue. We then examine pictures taken of area in question of customer vehicle and observed that this side molding on customers door is attached by double sided tape as seen in picture belowAs seen in picture, the tape attaching molding has failed becoming separated from doorThis model vehicle is years old as it is a model and after years of being exposed to elements such as hot and cold temps, rain and UV as well as daily use this tape can become compromisedOur equipment does not work in manner to remove side molding off and if it did, the passenger side front door and driver side of vehicle would have experienced the molding to become detachedAll management and lead positions at our wash are highly trained in our incident process as well as no decision made without Site Manager’s approval based off the evidence. In event that a customer is not in agreement they have a right to ask their insurance to conduct an accident investigation or designation of fault investigationThis will not open a claimThe insurance provider will send an investigator to the actual site and review all relevant video as well as operation of the wash and submit a designationIf we are found at fault by this process, we will overturn our ruling and pay for the damage.
