Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that them completely deleting my account would be satisfactory to meI hope their business can find a way to implement and execute a safer job seeker environment that actually filters fake job posters in the futureTheir response does not, however, address the fact that job seeker information is readily available to other job seekersThat's a major privacy violation, and I find it quite curious that zip recruiter glossed over that pointPlease see attached pdf of an email received via zip recruiter which has other user's information at the bottomI will wait until for the business to remove any and all of my information from their system, and, if it does, will consider that portion of the complaint resolvedI would additionally like the privacy issue addressed and explainedPending that response, I will consider all issues resolved.

Hi Casey,We are very sorry to hear about the poor experience you had while using our platformWe take our user’s privacy concerns very seriously, and appreciate you bringing this to our attention so that we can improve our processes. Per my previous email, your information was removed from our
database and your account has been closed in fullWe have also unsubscribed you from further ZipRecruiter emails. We at ZipRecruiter take great pride in our role in bringing job seekers and employers together. We are also acutely aware that there are bad actors out there who, whether on job boards or on other platforms for internet commerce and communication, seek to use the cloak of anonymity provided by technology to take advantage of others. And while we are pleased that our growth has enabled a dramatic increase in both the number of people we can help and the quality of our service, we are also aware that we have become more visible not only to legitimate participants but also to bad actors. Still, no system is perfect, no matter how sophisticated or well intentioned. That is why we take steps to educate job seekers about how to spot suspicious activity and encourage reporting of all such activity to us so we can investigate and take prompt remedial action. Any such reports should be sent to our dedicated e-mail address: [email protected]. Again, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we wish you the best of luck moving forward in your job search!

Only one position was closed on February 20th with one active position still postedThe account showed consistent daily usage on the remaining positionThe open position received candidates of which were viewed and rejected candidateThe Project Manager position posted also included interview questions of which candidates were hidden who incorrectly answered those questions. Based on the following usage the charge for February is sustained. the platform for employers and candidates to connect, unfortunately, we cannot control what those candidates choose to do with those communicationsDue to the two-thousand-plus applicants that you received to your Customer Service Representative position, we will not be able to provide a full refund for all four months of serviceHowever, we would be happy to provide you with refunds for the most recent two months of service which totals to $These two charges will be back on your credit card within 3-business daysAgain, I would like to apologize for your overall poor experience with using our serviceIf we ever have the pleasure of assisting you with your hiring needs in the future, we would be happy to offer you a new free trial and have a Customer Success team member walk you through all of the additional tools that can be used to attract qualified applicantsIf you need further assistance with your account feel free to contact our Customer Success team by calling ###-###-#### (24/7).Kind Regards,Tier II SupportThank you,

Hi Amy,Thank you for submitting this complaint as we greatly appreciate your feedback! I certainly understand your frustration and would like to apologize for your poor experience with cancelling your accountAfter reviewing your account I believe I have identified the source of the
confusionIt seems that you did close the jobs properly but not the subscription itselfThis would explain that extra charge as all accounts are set up to auto-renew at the end of each billing periodClosing the jobs simply opens up the job"slots" for you to post new ones in their place but does not cancel the subscription. During the siprocess, we do our best to explain how the system works in our Terms of UseWe apologize if this was unclearI can also see that the charge of $on 9/has been voided and will not come through as a full transactionIf we ever have the pleasure of assisting you with your hiring needs in the future, we would be happy to offer you a new free trial and walk you through all the benefits of using ZipRecruiterIf you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to us at *** You can also reach the rest of our Customer Success Team by calling ###-###-#### (24/7)We are here to help! They have only refunded half of the what they charged

Hi ***,Thank you for bringing this to our attention as we greatly appreciate your feedback! I'd like to apologize for your recent experience with your ZipRecruiter account and wish to provide some clarification.Every ZipRecruiter account is required to acknowledge an understanding of our automatic
renewing subscription upon creation of their accountIn addition, we do our best to disclose these details in our Terms of Use which are presented during the account creationUsers are welcomed to cancel anytime before the end of that trial period without any chargeWe apologize if this was unclearDue to the lack of cancellation, your account was charged at the end of your day free trial (1/28/18). After review, I can see that you did not receive many qualified applicants during your time with us and because of that we have decided to process your initial requestAlthough our system does work to identify the best-matched candidates for your job, there are several other tools that we encourage all customers to take advantage of to help better their chances of finding the right candidate and filtering out those who are not a good fitIf we ever have the pleasure of assisting you with your hiring needs in the future, we would be happy to walk you through those additional features. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me personally at *** with the subject "Attention Tier III"You can also reach the rest of our Customer Success Team by calling *** ***. This is a terrible site, and at the very least, this company really oversteps their boundaries and is a complete waste of time. I wouldn't be surprised if they were some kind of phishing scam, or just scamming companies that they are recruiting for. Here are some notes from my experience as a job seeker.

First of all, it is obvious that "Phil" (the person who emails you nonstop) is a robot, stop pretending he's a person.

The website is a complete waste of time. Almost every job on there is a job that is already listed with another recruiting company, most of which you will be able to find posted on [redacted] by that other recruiting company, so why bother going through zip?? I already knew most of the recruiting companies that they listed jobs for, and I didn't need robot-phil to connect me.

I have also tried to unsubscribe from their incessant emails several times, but continue to get them anyway. Not only do I keep getting emails, but the few jobs I actually had interest in that were emailed to me were posted on [redacted] by other companies and were clearly not accepting applications anymore. So why am I even being sent these jobs??

I also had a really creepy experience just now. I applied to a job on [redacted] directly to the company that was hiring, and a few minutes later ZipRectuier emailed me confirming my application. What? How did they even know I applied?? I was on my own private profile on the [redacted] job search app, the posting was directly from the hospitality company that was hiring. Nowhere on the post did it say anything about ZipRecruiter, and I did not apply through ZipRecruiter. When I asked "Phil" how they even knew I applied, I got a random robot response back that had nothing to do with my question.

I have no idea how they knew I applied, and it really makes me feel spied on. I also don't need ZipRecruiter intervening in my application when I am already applying directly to the company, what is the point of that??? Recruiters are supposed to help you discover jobs, if I have already discovered the job, I don't need your "help."

I've asked them to delete my account, because of course, there is no option for me to do that myself. I guess my fate is up to "Phil."

Terrible Company! I signed up for free trial, placed my ads and provided a credit card to 'verify' I was a real person. After submitting credit card it showed both my ads with the word 'active'. Two hours later not ONE phone call from any candidates, only call to upsell me, and verify me which as I explained had already been done.

When I place an ad on competitor's sites we get applicants within 15 to 20 minutes of posting.

Victor in customer service was rude and hung up, called back to speak to a supervisor and was told they are not allowed to put one on the phone, they must take my information down and a supervisor will call me back. Still no call.

Don't waste your time or money. I cancelled my account and was assured my credit card will not be charged. Let's see.

A quick search on the internet and I found many complaints similar to mine including ones by employees stating the same issues.

ZipRecruiter used to be a great company! However, when the new CFO was hired and prices jumped 100% overnight to fund a national marketing campaign- Everything changed. This is a shady company. They won't tell you about pricing, sales people don't give clear info, up-selling is the top priority and you have to wait to talk to a sales person to again, up-sell you. Doing business with the darkside of monster and careerbuilder is a much better experience. With over 20 years of recruitment experience, zip is the worst job board on the market.

Hi [redacted],Thank you for your response and I do apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced while using our service. Today, 5/18/17 I confirmed that on your account was refunded for March, April, and May to correct this issue. You can also confirm the refunds by logging into your...

I used this site as one of many to find a new job or a second job. Two people who put ads on this site were frauds. There are scams on this site beware! I'm having issues with my bank since I have taken a "job" and they paid me with a fake check. Please don't use this site
