We traded in our street glide and purchased an ultra classic the ZM Harley Dealership gave us a 10.000 mile service for the motorcycle as part of the deal on the purchase of the bike. We were told that Harley will do the service at no charge never was it mention that only that dealership can do it sort of a back door deal if you as me. So it cost us $450 to get the service done at another dealership because we moved. Now the point is not about the money its the way things are done now Harley use to be like a family you could go to any other Harley dealer and get what you needed done even if you purchased it across the state and for ZM Harley in Greensburg PA not to honor it was pretty sad. I even went as far as to tell my friend that I referred there to purchase a bike the story and now he will not purchase the bike he had his eye on. Word of mouth goes along way. Just a heads up everyone knows Harley is trying to increase the sales of there bikes this year with the new electric bike and other models and try to draw in different buyers. If your service is poor for your existing customers what makes you think you will have a good sales recorded this year. I was told by the dealer that did my 10.000 service that would have never happened to us if we had purchased the bike from them they would have honored it even if I went to Alaska. So I would like to say thank you Harley of Gainesville Florida for your service. This whole experience has put a bad taste in my mouth with Harley its all about the money anymore with parts made in china and all its not an American bike anymore pretty sad then you get screwed over on top of that. Like $450 is going to break there bank. Anyway any new buyers I would recommend doing your research be for you purchase at any dealer and get it in writing OH wait I did have it in writing It didn't help though. Just make sure you don't have any future promises on your bike for service ect.

Review: Z&M cycle advertised a 2002 BMW K1200LT for sale and listed in good working order. I contacted the dealer and asked several questions about the bike condition including if anything was wrong with the bike since I am from out of town. The sales person stated the bike was through the shop and everything checks out fine. The day I arrived it was raining, the bike had a dead battery, it was started and was able to take a quick ride in the parking lot due to the rain. I questioned the brake failure light that was on. I was told the part of the ABS and it would go off when the bike reached 15 MPG. Other minor issues were identified and they reduced the price. The next day it stopped raining and I took the bike for a test drive, the light did not turn off. I contacted the dealer, and was told to bad the bike was sold as is. There was no mention of as is, it was on the bill of sale. I took my wife for a test ride and the bike wold not stop when the brakes were applied and we ended up in the middle of the intersection. I took the bike to the BMW dealer that diagnosed the problem as the ABS module ($3325). The bike has servo assist brakes and with the module not working there is no braking power. Contacted the manager for resolution and was not willing to take the bike back, or help with the repairs. I can not bypass the ABS like on other bikes. So with no brakes I and out the cost of the bike and my trade in, which I would gladly take back. Z&M knew about the problem and the bike would not pass a PA vehicle inspection and they sold it without disclosing the issue, they covered it up by telling me the light will go out when the bike goes over 15 mph.Desired Settlement: To fix the bike cost $3325. I would either like the bike fixed or returned for my cash payment and my trade in.
