complaintMs*** contacted me in August about doing her son *** senior portraitsWe talked in September and set up a "mini" session in October and the agreement to do a second session in the Spring of Ms*** arrived at Dawson's Creek for her October session with **, a female foreign exchange student and her husbandI was then asked to do *** senior portrait as well as senior portraits for the girl and a "few" family pictures, which I didI emailed Ms.*** less than two weeks later with her finished images from that sessionThis exchange is detailed (in great detail) belowI submitted the senior yearbook submission for both ** and the female student to *** *** school following up with the school to make sure that they had received the photos prior to the deadlineThen she placed an order for prints of 5x7'sMy stated turnaround time for prints is 2-weeks, and she was notified of those prints being ready within that four weeksThere then followed some confusion which is detailed belowMs*** picked up her prints and paid and then I did not hear from her again until MayMs*** did not contact me to do the "Spring session" until June 2014/July I completed that session July 6th and it took me weeks to finish themI informed them at the session that I would have to finish each image by hand due to the locationI further informed her that I was working on those photos on August and would be done "soon" but I gave no dateI finished the images in September: not THREE MONTHS LATER as her complaint claimsIn her complaint she states that my website states a "week'' turn around, which it does not, it's 2-weeksMs.*** states that l "print'' the 5x7's she picked up in January "at home"I can assure you that I doIf Ms.*** turns those photos over she will see that they state "FujicoloCrystal Paper" it will then have a professional printers ID on it- something like,"##### ####.jpg Zober Images####### N N N N- AS####### .1/100.00)- the "NNNN" is there because I print without allowing any lab corrections to be made to my coloringThese are prints made at a professional labI do not own a printer in my own or in my business that would print images for clientsThere is some confusion about her order as I was waiting for her to finish another order from her Family session from which she asked me to find so she could place an orderMs.*** has still NOT placed an order for those family pictures despite asking me in the Fall if I still had them, asking me again in June and asking me via emailI did allow some time to pass in processing her final order, however, she waited nearly four months to place that order since the time they were finishedHer son has already graduated and was in his first year at collegeThese prints were not time sensitiveI apologized to her for the time and advised her on June 15th that I was waiting on a Sxand would get back to herMs*** did not wait for me to receive that print, instead she filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on June 17th In her complaint Ms.*** states that she wants a refundShe has already been advised by me that she is not entitled to any refund for anything, and I stand by that statementShe was advised her order was mostly in (one print came in as a 5Xnot a 5xand had to be reordered)Ms.*** states that I am "taking advantage of people" and "not reporting my income"To be frank, the only person being taken advantage of is meA senior portrait session is a session of a person in their senior yearThe goal of the session is to get a few images to hand out to friends and submit to the yearbookMs.*** got that for** for the Fall of Ms.*** then asked and received an additional FREE senior portrait session for the foreign exchange student who was staying with them AND a FREE family session during that Fall sessionMs.*** has a pattern of waiting weeks and months to respond to me, then becomes irate to the point of sending me emails laced with insults when I don't respond to her in a timeline she prefersYou'll note that she does not deny calling me several times at 11:pm or 9:00pm and states in one email that she will "contact [my] business) anything [she] wants"- though that is my personal cell phone number, and it's not a number listed on my website for my businessMs.*** alleges that I do not claim my incomeI have tax records going back to at least 2005,possible (I don't really recall when I started working for *** *** and getting 1099's from them)- and have always filed as a DBAI keep records of my lab fee's and equipment costs and pay my accountant to file my taxes each and every yearHowever, I really don't see why this is any of Ms.*** businessTo be bluntMs*** is a prime example of why I prefer payments in cash: people bounce checks or cancel checks and as a small business it's not a loss I can afford to lose or afford to recoverIt's just that simpleI am unclear as to what I should do to resolve this as the following exchange happened and Ms.*** is now asking me NOT for a refund- BUT for her printsI would like this situation mediated so that a third party can be involved to ensure I do not have to deal with Ms*** any furtherAside from the print order, there is still the outstanding
