Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I told several employees at Battlefield that I was lied to about the warranty and never once was I offered the opportunity for a refundFurthermore, the opportunity for a refund does not excuse the fact that your sales person lied to a customer about what he was purchasingAdditionally, I specifically asked Dwight P*** if the noise I was hearing was due to the bearingsHe claimed Battlefields technicians had checked and it was not due to the bearings, but due to an aging all wheel drive systemIt was not until I went to another mechanic who checked and confirmed right away that it was the bearings that I had them replaced and immediately the road noise issues were resolvedBattlefield knowingly put me in a vehicle that needed repairs and then lied about what the issue was putting me at riskIf we are unable to resolve this between us I will be contacting legal counselI am still requesting a refund of the warranty or that that Catalytic converter repair be covered in its steadTo reiterate, I am requesting this for the following reasons:Deceptive sales practicesGross negligence that put me at risk

I'm not sure why Revdex.com is calling this a complaintMr*** contacted us on vehicle and we were had a lucky call with him being bought with rate and terms and nothing down (We have nothing, No money down nothing signed) He told us he wanted the vehicle but would have to check with his wife
(We have nothing at this point) and hours later he called back it was sold to someone closer to Battlefield Ford and they as Mr*** saw the great price and valueWhy would he be contacting us from such a distance, think of the millions of customers between Ohio and Virginia. Finally Mr*** forgot to mention the other vehicles that were bought from under him did he complain to Revdex.com about those as well *** *** Battlefield Ford

Mr*** never once made the General Manager aware of this situationHad he called or emailed the GM of the dealership we would of been more than happy to take care of this cost of $from almost two years ago for himI have printed him a check and placed it in the mail to the address
listed on the complaintIf there is anymore questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me. Respectfully,*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Battlefield Ford still has yet to address the issues of deceptive sales tactics and gross negligence in advising as to the repairs the vehicle required. What will Battlefield be doing to avoid this going to legal proceedings? I will accept further reduction in the charge to repair the catalytic converter. Currently the quote is at $[redacted]. I will also be cancelling what is left of the warranty with the warranty company.
Regards,
[redacted]

Called business spoke with Mr. F** he stated that a full refund of the warranty will not be issued. If Mr. [redacted] would like to cancel his warranty he needs to prove Mr. F** with a written letter stating he wants to cancel. But doesn't advise the cancellation of the warranty in case something does go wrong with the power train Mr. [redacted] will have that warranty to help cover the repairs.

First off Mr. [redacted] purchased a high end import vehicle that was * years old with [redacted]K miles on it, and paid $[redacted] for a powertrain warranty, which is an excellent price! The catalytic converter is only allowed to be under warranty for 8year / **K miles per Federal regulation. So it was never...

covered. When Mr. [redacted] found out his bearings wasn't covered under the powertrain warranty, he then had the chance to cancel it, as he had confirmed the warranty he purchased ONLY covered powertrain. He choose to keep it because an expensive import vehicle is very costly to repair if there is an issue with powertrain. Mr. [redacted] had the ability to cancel his warranty he purchased several times but choose to keep it, he can still cancel it but will not get a full refund as he has [redacted]K miles on the vehicle now. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to me.Gary F**, General ManagerBattlefield Ford Culpeper[redacted]
