I made an appointment for Zoom care one day in advance. At the main number the guy took my information, pulled up my medical records and confirmed my insurance, my age, my mailing address and made an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was TURNED AWAY. I was told they DO NOT SEE SENIORS on Medicare EVEN IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY CASH FOR THE SERVICE. Keep that in mind if you are elderly, on Medicare and need service. YOU WON'T GET IT AT ZOOM CARE

Zoom Care will not serve seniors
Zoom care does not accept medicare or medicare advantage insurance nor will they accept self pay if you have either coverage. So basically Zoom Care denies service to seniors.

To Whom it May Concern, Thank you for alerting us to this individual's complaintWe have already spoken with the patient and provided the options available to him in this matterRegretfully, the options available are not the desired outcome that this patient is requestingLike most Medical Practices, ZOOM+ offers a self-pay discount for services providedHowever, once insurance has been billed we are not able to reduce back to the self-pay discount as we must collect the contracted amount that is established by the Insurance CompanyIf this patient is not pleased with how their benefits are designed and/or how this claim was processed by his insurance company, we highly recommend that he file an appeal with his insurance company to dispute his agreed upon cost share Best, Jake M [redacted] Customer Service Manager ZOOM+

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: when I called to make the appointment I asked how much they charged they said 299.00 flat fee. That was included the stiches in my finger, and they said you could also use your insurance. But they ignored to tell me if I used my insurance they will charge as much as the insurance is contracted to pay them in this case 581.00 and not 299.00 as they had told in the bigning. This case has nothing to do with my insurance it has to do with zoom care to trick me in using my insurance and not the flat rate.even though they new they would mske more money this way. ZOOM CARE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED I WILL STAY AWAY FROM IT. Very deshonest company. On top of that they don't have staff Doctors all they have is a bunch of highschool grad. kids running the show. The highest education is about 1 year acording to the nuse assistance that attended me. Which made me very tricked when he told me that. And yes they do make bearlly above minimun wages. At this time, we are waiting for her Insurance Company to let us know if they have accepted our corrected claim and adjusted the patient responsibility for the visit.
