I am writing to respond to the complaint *** filed by *** ***.I am personally attempting to find a resolution for her problem.While I do not agree with Ms***'s version of the facts, I do hope to bring her a measure of satisfaction.I do not agree for the following reasons:1)
Product problems and warranty issues can be brought to the attention of our Client Care Manager, ** ***, who is at the store days a week, hours per day Ms*** did not need an appointment in order to demonstrate the fact that the hearing aid battery door had cracked Our Client Care Manager in Brooklyn is very experienced and would have been happy to handle this, but she was not aware that the battery door was damaged until after the warranty had expired Unfortunately, the year warranty that came with the hearing aid Ms*** purchased is normally strictly enforced by the manufacturer We have elevated the issue in an attempt to get an exception for Ms***.2) I quoted Ms*** that we would be happy to repair her hearing aid at our cost of $ She refused that offer and hung up the phone on me on two separate occasions.As I said, we are attempting to resolve the problem and see if the manufacturer would be willing to replace the aid under warranty I will notify Revdex.com and Ms*** as soon as possible.Thank you,Glenn HarboldManaging PartnerZounds Hearing of Greater Cleveland(216) 513-

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First of all, [redacted] was totally understanding. She even followed me out to the car because I was so upset. She told me she would talk to Glenn. He did call me, and I did hang up on him. It was also his demeanor that made me hang up. And, the price was not $75.00 for repair. It was $175.00. Glenn also told me he would get back to me, never did. That's when I wrote the letter to the main office in Arizona, and Larry R[redacted] called. I spoke to him a few times, again, he promised to get back and never did. I have a copy of the letter I sent and would like to fax it so the Revdex.com knows the entire situation. Please send me a fax number.I did not want to go this far, but all I kept getting was "we'll get back to you." I wear the hearing aid and it does not work as well as it did. I have taped the door so it won't fall off. It is extremely frustrating when you have something that helps you hear as good as my aid did, then when you have a problem, they want more money and have poor customer service. I made my boss aware of the problem, because I do deal with clients, and he has been understanding. When you have a problem hearing it is very frustrating to keep asking people to repeat what they've said.
