I am rejecting this response because:
To whom it may concern,Most of the content of the response of [redacted] were lies. I paid the rest of my balance for the engine rebuilt. When I went to his shop, it was already past 5 pm to pay the $89.00 and his secretary [redacted] already gone for the day. He called her and she told him where to find the receipt with the remaining balance. I gave him the money and in return he gave me the receipt and put paid in full, I still have that receipt for documentation. Another thing that was not mentioned on my complain was when I got my car after the engine rebuild, My car wouldnt start normal. I went a few times in his shop to address the problem along with burning oil. He replaced my starter 3x since they did the engine rebuild and that didn't fix the problem. Another time he said it's the gas regulator, so I told him to go ahead & replaced it, if that was the problem why my car is not starting right. During this time also, he said that he wants me to leave my car for a few days so he can check on why my car is burning oil. I told him that I'm going to need a rental car so he offered one of the car that he is selling for me to rent it. He charged me $30/day. He kept my car for 4 days, didn't check my car, he used my car as transportation to conduct his businesses to different places..that how he checked my car, he didn't work on it on why it was burning oil. I know because that's what he told me. I have to call him after 4 days to check on the status of my car while he rented me a car that he charged me for $30/day. When I got my car, still have the same problem, not starting right and burning oil and I keep on buying 1gallon of synthetic oil every 2 weeks. When I came back another time, I mentioned to him that one of client's husband which is a mechanic that it might be the flywheel that is bad and that's why my car is not starting right. Finally, they tooked out the flywheel and it's missing teeth and needs to be replace. It cost me another $600 for it to be replaced. They tooked out my flywheel when they rebuild my engine and they probably put it backwards or not on timing. After the, my car starts fine but the burning of oil continues. One day, my car wouldn't move when I move the gear to drive or reverse. I towed it in one of the mechanic shop in Moreno Valley and when they check it, they said I need a transmission engine. I called [redacted] and told him what the other mechanic shop told me and he said that he is sure that it's not the transmission engine, he just have to check the gear and if it's the transmission engine, he will charge me $1,600 for it plus $100 towing. So I let them tow my car from the mechanic shop in Moreno Valley to their shop in Rialto. The next day, he called me that it's the transmission engine and he change his price from $1,600 to $1,700 plus $100 towing. I told him to go ahead and fix it and paid him $1,800 cash for that work. But the burning of oil continues and I'm getting impatient with it. I brought my car so many times in this shop and all I do is spend more money on other things. He told me to use synthetic oil and to bring my car to his shop for oil change which cost me $45 everytime.  On 8/30/17, I brought and left my car for nth time in his shop, I see tremendous amount of oil leak, I didn't get a call until around 5pm after I try to reach [redacted] at 1pm and he's not on his shop. He told me that it's not engine oil leak, it's power steering oil, he said it happens because of the hot weather, he said they fill it up but I need an oil change. I said go ahead  and do the oil change and I will pick up my car, after 45 minutes, I was dropped off to his shop to pick up my car. He told me that there was a big problem in my car. They found the oil engine leak when they raise my car in the bay. He showed me that it's coming from the seal (that's what he told me not the solenoid and I have the receipt that says it too). He told me that seals need to be replaced and wants me to pay for the parts and labor (again). That's when I told to my self enough is enough. I told him that they probably didn't change the seals when they did the engine rebuild which for every other mechanic I talked to said that -that's part of engine rebuild. So he fixed it and I still paid $45 for "oil change". But the burning of oil continues. On 9/5/17, I bought 2 more quarts of oil. On 9/17/17, another quart. on 9/18/17, I went to [redacted]'s shop, all they did is put 3quarts of oil. On 9/25/17, went back again because my oil engine light is one again. [redacted] put another 3 quarts of oil. He suggested to leave my car for 2 weeks so they can check why my car is burning oil. I told him that I'm okay with it but I'm going to need a rental car while they have my car and I want him to provide it since all this time I have been spending money on oil, been losing work everytime I bring my car to his shop and keeping it for days and not fixing the problem. Also the last time, I got a rental car for 4 days but he never fix the problem. He said no, it's my problem. That's when I told him that maybe I should find other alternative and I left. On 10/04/17- I brought and left my car to his shop for them to fix my car. He wasn't there when I dropped it off but I told his mechanic [redacted] and secretary [redacted] to call me but he never called me. Finally he called me on 10/9/17 and he wants me to come to his shop to show me the problem with my car. I came by and he told me that the piston rings are bad. He suggested that I should pay the parts and he will take care of the labor because the parts company wouldn't replace it for free since its been 8 months. I told him that I wouldn't pay for it because it's not my fault why the piston rings are bad, and I have been coming to his shop for months telling him the burning of oil but they never open the engine, and I have 1 year warranty. So he got mad and I left. After the 2nd week of not hearing from him, I called and ask the status of my car. He told me that I have to wait for 2 more weeks even though his mechanic [redacted] told me that morning that my cat will be ready the next day. I came the next day to check the status of my car with a friend which I asked to take pictures of my car. He changed his story, now ,my car will be ready the following Wednesday. Come Tuesday, he called me and said my car is ready but he noticed that there's a crack in my radiator. I told him that when I left my car to them 3 weeks ago, there was no problem with my radiator. I picked up my car the next day with a friend. He had me sign a paper. I asked for his business license of his shop and that's when his secretary [redacted] raising her voice to me that I don't need it and told [redacted] that he doesn't have to give it to me. I told them that according to the Bureau of Auto Repair they should provide that to their customers. In the end, they gave me a copy of an expired business license, I left with my car with no police involved. They gave me my car keys after I signed the paper that [redacted] wants me to signed. I don't owe them any money, I paid all my balance, I have all they receipts to prove it. I spent over $5,000 on my car from the time they rebuilt my car and replacing parts which I shouldn't have to, spent money for rental car and they didn't fix the problem and lost income every time I bring my car there and they keep it for days.Sincerely,[redacted]

11/08/2017 To Whom It May Concern.  Gloria brought my car to my workshop to check it, I found that the vehicle needed a revised engine, I let her know about the problem and I also gave her the price and also one year warranty on January 10 2017 and she said yes, that It was fine and...

that I did.  She left her car in my workshop and I do not leave any money to start working on her car. I cannot start work on her vehicle. She came to my workshop, but she was recommended from another client.  She has a balance, on inv#253 per $2,564.00-on 01/10/2017.That invoice was included: ENGINE REBUILD $1800.00 STARTER $200.00 MOTOR MOUNT $95.00  AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR $280.00 FRONT BRAKES $45.00 SALE TAX $114.00 GRAND TOTAL$2,564.00 Between that date she needs a car to move and she ask about renting car & she rented from us while we fix her car. She brought cash on 01/13/2017 she bring us $1,000.00 (cash)- On 02/02/2017 she bring another $1,125.00 (cash)- After that I gave her the vehicle & she promise came back before the month ends to pay the rest & took the vehicle with her.  On 02/23/2017 she bring another $350.00 on that date she told me that her car was needing oil and was running with no oil and I tell her she can bring it to be checked but she didn’t bring it & she was putting oil I don’t know what oil she was using. I told her she need to live the car because I can see where the oil was coming from. On 10/04/2017 Car was leaking oil from the solenoid & I have to removed & replace it & she didn’t pay any money on that. I told her she need to drove another car because she need to leave the car on the shop to make sure everything was ok and she didn’t, so .I make a service she bring the car 2 weeks after. I pull the engine out and pull it apart to find the problem and I find the piston ring was no good, I call the part store & the part wasn’t warranty no more because it was passing 9 months already, I told her about it & she don’t want to pay for any part and any labor. I have to buy all the parts, I send the head to be checked and make sure everything was ok, also I have to send the bloke to inspection & they charge the heat $180.00.I send the crankshaft to polish & they charge $85.00 & I order the rings and road bearings back together engine and I order a new oil filter and oil also coolant to make sure the engine works ok. On 10/24/2017 she came and I gave her an invoice about all that the car needs to be fixed. a week after she came screaming to one of my shop mechanics and also another guy that he came with her was taking pictures of my shop and I was working on her car still waiting on the parts that I order because they didn’t had on stock. I call her and let her know that the radiator on her car was bad & she have to change it too but she came all mad screaming at me and my workers about her car and also to the secretary in the office. She wants to take her car and I have to call the police, she took the car and when the police officer came take the report about all this. She still owed $89.00 she never came back to paid that amount.
