My client, Tax Lien Buyers Club (“TLBC”), apologizes that a response was not made earlier, as the contact person was out of date and the complaint was not received. It is my understanding that TLBC has updated this information and this should not be a problem going forward. In response to the Complaint, TLBC states as follows: 1. Mr. [redacted] purchased education or similar services through Advanced Real Estate Education, with Tax Lien Buyers Club providing a portion of the educational services. Mr. [redacted] may have also purchased other services from Advanced Real Estate Education that are unrelated to Tax Lien Buyers Club.2. Mr. [redacted] should verify his credit card statement or other payment method to determine from what entity he actually purchased a product or service, as TLBC has no record of receiving money from Mr. [redacted]. When TLBC’s product is sold through another company, TLBC only receives a nominal amount (less than $50.00) from that sale.3. Contrary to Mr. [redacted]’s claim that no one spoke with him in three months, Tax Lien Buyers Club has notes that show that he spoke with Carter W[redacted] multiple times in November and December 2016.4. Mr. [redacted] also logged into the Tax Lien Buyers Club website for fifty (50) minutes on November 21, 2016, ostensibly accessing the education materials provided by Tax Lien Buyers Club, showing he used the product which he purchased.As such, TLBC is not in a position to refund Mr. [redacted]’s purchase. If he is willing to accept it, TLBC can refund the portion of the purchase price that it actually received from the selling entity.
