The Masspequa facility is extremely antiquated. My husband is having a PET scan done and I’m unable to be with him while the injectsble contract takes an hour to be effective.
He’s sitting alone in another room, not well and no one to be with him.
All other facilities have waiting areas for patients to be with the people who care for them.

Review: Please understand that I understand Revdex.com does not review health-related issues. However, this complaint regards customer service and non-response of the noted company. The diagnoses provided are of concern certainly, and I sent a letter to a man I was told manages such issues. My complaint is that I have not received response to my letter and am threatened with notation from [redacted] that a collection agency "... will pursue your debt through any and/or all means possible. The Collection Agency will report your debt to all major Credit Bureau Agencies." This "strong-arm" is insulting and as a senior, and [redacted], person, I believe that [redacted] is interfering with my rights.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate dissolution of the balance for services performed by [redacted].

Review: visited Zwanger on 3/** for a test ordered my my doctor. Paid a $15.00 co pay with my debit card. received several bills from Zwanger requesting the co pay. Spoke to Zwanger billing and was told they do not see my co pay and I owed them. Pulled up my bank stamen and saw the payment to Zwanger on 3/**. Told Zwanger my bank record is showing I paid, the woman told me " you came here a few times" I told her that was not true, my doctor referred me once. Then she say " you have 2 co pays from your Insurance" I told her that was not true . This company is trying to extort money from me. It appears that they do not record the patients payments and then try to double bill them. This is fraud and perhaps the Attorney General's Office and [redacted] need to hear about this. I am hoping other people are not victims to double billing with co pays . I am so glad I paid with my debit card and my bank record shows I made a paymentDesired Settlement: Stop billing me, close this case as paid and contact me regarding this error. I have my bank records.

An apology letter was immediately sent to the patient. Her copayment was here. Along with apology letter, I sent a copy of her claim, the original receipt for her copayment, and a copy of the explanation of benefits from [redacted]

Review: My doctor suggested I go for a 3d mammogram. I called zwanger and was advised prior to making my appointment they do have the 3d at this office and there would be no additional cost. They then seemed very eager to have me make my appointment by offering one within the next few days. Prior to the appointment I called Zwanger [redacted] location again and was again advised with blue cross there is no additional cost. I have since received a bill for $75.I feel this office and their practices are bait and switch, they were very eager to take my insurance information prior to making the appointment and assured me their was no additional cost. The staff had my medical insurance information yet I was still charged.Desired Settlement: The $75 fee they are billing me removed.

Sorry I did not respond sooner. I will fax the two waivers the patients signed before she had the procedure. One waiver is a standard waiver we give to all our patients who are having a mammography that included the Tomosynthesis (3D imaging) and the second waiver is a Blue Shield waiver. I am sorry the patient feels she was misinformed. Our scheduling department and our front desk personnel know the 3D imaging is an additional charge. It seems there is some miscommunitcation. Of course I do not know exactly what questions the patient asked the scheduling department when she made her appointment. Please let me know if there is other information you require. Review: I had a mammography on 8/**/15 in Zwanger's Merrick location. I paid a $75.00 additional fee to have a digital screening performed. After the mammography was over the technician realized that she forgot to do the digital screening and a $75.00 refund was issued to me that same day. The billing department in Lindenhurst, NY keeps sending me statements for this $75.00 even though I have sent them documentation on now 6 different occasions explaining the error made by their office. They are threatening to put my account into collections when I do not owe this money, but no one is correcting their records.Desired Settlement: Void this erroneous $75.00 fee

I researched this problem, The patient was refunded on the same day as the procedure. We billed the insurance because the code came over too fast. It is never paid by her insurance, and we have since removed the charge for the 3D screening, completely.I left a message on the patients home phone, to please check her account, we charged her account and refunded it on the same day.
