I've had two negative experiences, one serious and one annoyingI had pain in my left leg and my doctor ordered a Doppler sonogram suspecting a DVT I went to Zwanger in Merrick on a Wednesday and they found nothing Three days later on Saturday the pain was much worse I went to my GP and he sent me to the Emergency RoomA Doppler sonogram at [redacted] found a major DVT and I was hospitalized for days Although I never complained, I wondered if Zwanger missed it These events occurred in May, This past Friday I received an invoice for $from their Lindenhurst office related to illness from that period The phone number on the invoice did not work The invoice had two stamps in red, one showing "Collections" and the other proclaiming "Attention Final Notice!" This was a shock since I never received a bill from them before that After reaching their billing department via [redacted] I paid the bill by credit card over the phone immediately to protect my credit rating from their incompetence Apparently they use a vendor to send out their bills I suspect the vendor is skipping much of their work to improve their profits Zwanger appears blithely unaware or uncaringThey've lost a customer in me (as well as my family and friends) as I will bring my future business to [redacted] and other competitors I suggest you do the same to avoid such problems

My only experience with zwanger persiri was terrible.The staff made me go back and forth many times but wouldn't perform the test necessary as per my doctor's percription.I have two forms of medical insurance andwas forced to wait for hours each time,only for the staff to tell me they simply can't perform the test.they wouldn't accept my insurance and that's it.I could only hope that the staff someday needs medical attention and gets this form of mistreatment.Their apathy and "not my job"attitude should be considered and reviewed by anyone who needs any performed before considering going thru this.

When I called to schedule an appointment I couldnt get through after reaching the operator I would be transferred and the hung up on This occurred times when making the appointment When calling again and once again being transferred by the operator to scheduling I was transferred and hung up on an additional six times I was unable to cancel my appointment and reschedule

Zwanger Pesiri has now for the second time in the past year issued an incorrect MRI report to me On Dec 15, the MRI of my abdomen showed that I had a spleen, yet my spleen was removed years ago I just had another MRI of my abdomen on July 18, and the report showed that my gallbladder was normal, yet my gallbladder was removed in June One cannot rely on any conclusions drawn from their MRI reports because their business is too large It is a matter of quantity without quality care

Sorry I did not respond sooner.  I will fax the two waivers the patients signed before she had the procedure.  One waiver is a standard waiver we give to all our patients who are having a mammography that included the Tomosynthesis (3D imaging) and the second waiver is a Blue Shield...

waiver. I am sorry the patient feels she was misinformed.  Our scheduling department and our front desk personnel know the 3D imaging is an additional charge.  It seems there is some miscommunitcation.  Of course I do not know exactly what questions the patient asked the scheduling department when she made her appointment. Please let me know if there is other information you require.
