To Whom It May Concern,This letter is in response to the letter received on January 20, from *** *** which was attached to the complaint Let me start by stating my sympathy for the family as losing a loved one is never easy The letter received is the first correspondence I
have received from anyone in the household since payment in full for $was received in July of and was unaware of any complaints in any way ZWS Environmental Services, Inc, was contacted on July 10, by *** *** to contact *** *** the son of the homeowners due to previous water damage that had occurred in the home and now the family members have discomfort when in the basement ZWS Environmental Services, Incresponded via phone the same day and an appointment was scheduled for an inspection on July 14, to further investigate the water and possible mold damage The visual, thermal imaging, and moisture assessment report dated July 16, found multiple areas of water damage however fungal growth was not visually observed Ambient air sampling for excess levels of fungal spores in the ambient air during the assessment also found levels The following was taken from the discussions section from within my report "According to the laboratory results, the *** Residence
had fungal levels in the ambient air of the basement and upper living
space. These levels are considered
in comparison to the outdoor reference sample collected and
outdoor ambient levels generally discovered within the outdoor air of this
geographical region during the present season.
A limited amount of fungal growth was present in the basement storage
room surrounding the sump pump. The
affected that are porous such as ceiling tiles should be bagged and discarded
while non porous items such as the vinyl chair can be cleaned with soap and
water followed by immediate drying. The
visual, moisture, and thermal inspection did not observe the presence of fungal
growth on the structure which is supported by the sampling within the ambient
air however with multiple water loss which has occurred within the basement it
is possible for hidden fungal growth.
Further destructive investigation could be conducted to further evaluate
the conditions present within wall cavities." ZWS Environmental Services, Incwas hired to investigate possible fungal growth and it's affect on the ambient air which found fungal conditions however with the extent of water damage discovered further investigation was recommended to determine the source of the complaint ZWS would be happy to further investigate as previously recommended or discuss with a third party to perform further destructive investigation at the request of the property owner or family however a demand for a refund of more money than charged to perform a service the was performed will not be considered I have attached a copy of my report for your review and yes portions of this report may be long and confusing however the purpose of the summary section is to summarize the parts in a less confusing manner as outlined above I have also attached a copy of the laboratory results and receipt of payment I look forward to resolution of this manner and would be happy to discuss further with any interested party.Sincerely,*** ** *** *** *** *** ***

husband, I did pay the bill in full on July 24, without filing a complaint
The report gave me pictures of water stains that I knew
existed. I needed advice on how to
proceed to improve the air quality. ZWS answer
to my complaint is to offer to investigate furtherThere is something wrong
with this solution. I have already spent
about $for [redacted] advice: which was to contact ZWS services. ZWS prepared an $report with no real
solutions or suggestions other than recommendation for further investigation. No thank you!

Review: The following letter was sent on 1/12/2015. No reply has been received.

Dear Mr. [redacted]:

On July 16, 2014, ZWS Environmental Services, Inc. prepared a report for my basement on ZWS Project No.[redacted]. My sons encouraged me to contact ZWS Environmental Services due to the concern of the quality of air in my basement. Family members and I were (and still are) experiencing extreme shortness of breathe while in the basement. Your report results were that there were no health risks at this time. There were no recommendations on how to improve the air quality. I paid over $1000 with no solutions given on how to improve the air quality. Your company was asked to help find a solution to the air quality issue. I needed solutions on how to achieve a better quality of air in my basement. Environmental Services means according to Webster’s dictionary: environment - surrounding conditions: services-helpful acts. Pictures of the water stains caused by flooding and tables with different spores’ percentages did not help me. The report did not give me any advice on how to proceed to improve the air quality. I needed “helpful acts” – suggestions on to how to improve the quality of the air in the basement.

It is now six months later and the air quality in the basement is the same: poor. My husband passed away in October so I am in the basement on a daily basis going through his belongings. While, in the basement, I am again experiencing extreme shortness of breathe and stuttering as I did this past summer. (I was to the doctor with my concerns this past summer and I returned to the doctor this past week with the same concerns.) I am not the only person experiencing shortness of breathe while in the basement. There is something in the air in the basement that causes health issues for me and others. I tried to seek a solution on how to improve the air quality by enlisting your environmental services but with no avail.

Your company charged an extreme amount of money for an ineffective service. Family members and I still have health issues while breathing the air in the basement. I paid over $1000 for what? A large portion of my money needs to be refunded for the ineffective environmental service. This matter must be address in 10 days in written form only. If I do not receive written communication in 10 days, I will proceed to file a complaint with Wisconsin Revdex.com.
