Late Sunday afternoon I discovered my A/C unit downI spoke with a representative of ECM and she efficiently handled all the details to have a technician arrive the next morning He did and repaired my central unit to my satisfaction Thank you ECMYou made a customer of me

We are customers for about years, always renew our service contract, and very rarely ask for anythingWe called at 3:on Friday afternoon because our washing machine did not shut off and overflowed into our houseWe has a huge floodWe used most of our towels to mop up all of the water and wanted them to come and fix the machine todayThey told us that they could not come until TuesdayWe explained that we had a machine full of clothes and water, wet bath towels that needed to be washed and dried, and were expecting a hurricane on SundayWe even offed to "pay" for a service call and they were not only "not helpful", but down right nastyWhen I asked them what we should do with all of the wet towels and washing machine full of water, they told us to do whatever it is we needed to do and that they would see us on TuesdayOur fear is that if we need towels during the hurricane, we will not have anyAdditionally, if the electricity goes out from the storm, we will have to wait even longer for them to comeI can't believe that a business that brags about customer satisfaction on their web-site could not get sometone to our house tonight, since they are working until 7:pmAfter this is fixed, we will be finding another company to provide us with reliable customer serviceIf we cannot get service in a time of emergency, what good is it?

this morning the air conditioning technician did a fabulous job in getting my air conditioner to work*** was very professional and courteous He is a credit to your company

refuse to come out and see why the drain they installed in our new A/C unit keeps backing up and shutting our A/C downI don't feel I should be charged sense ECM ran new drain pipes and only after this have we started having issueI asked that they come check the angle of the pipe they installed and was told it wasn't their issueThis is our third unit and we have never had issues with the drain until this new one was installedI asked to speak to someone higher then a manager and was told I couldn'tI tried to resolve this through the company ,but the customer service I received was awfulThis was our second unit from ECM and I recommended ECM to my sonIt is apparent as a company grows and becomes big the customer service goes downI don't ever remember being treated this way years agoI would never recommend ECM to anyone else after this last A/C unit

ECM showed up on time and fixed the problem quicklyI highly recommend them

*** **.**st had my central a/c unit replaced by two of the the most expert technicians
There work effort was great and completed the work to my complete satisfaction
They also were most pleasant
This mark my 17th year with ECM, and will continue to use the service

Had this service for three years Had needed it once in that time This weekend our Bosch drier died Called for a repair appointment and was told that Bosch was not covered as it is a "Premier Drier" We were not informed that the drier was not covered until we needed service
We WILL NOT be renewing

Had a recent service call to fix a plumbing problem
Received a call in advance telling me how many customers were ahead of me and then got a call to ask if it was okay if the service tech came early
Fixed the problem and had a very good experience

years ago I bought a house, the house had a/c units where one didnt work wellafter a very warm summer I decided to replace the unitwhen the salesman came out he was able to upsell me into replacing both unitsboth units ran about $(lennox) with a little buyers remorse I started checking into comparable pricing and realized I over payed by about $now its years later the units is leaking water like a water featurei call for service they give me a window of 3pm-6pmi get a call at 545pm to tell me he will be there at at he still hasnt arrived so I call to get a sorry were closed messageat 815pm I get the knock on the doorhe walks to the unit tells me my drain line is dirty and its $minutes later hes packing up, I turn on the unit minutes later its leaking more water than before he camewith no way to reach anyone I wait until the next morningI have currently been left on hold for minutes and countingreceptionist very rude
I have never written a review to complain before, but after this experience if I can save someone else the pain and money of dealing with this organization than it was worth it

Do not use this company! My mother, and elderly woman on dialysis, has been without her refrigerator for almost two weeks The first "repairman" that came out "misdiagnosed" the issue and told her it was the compressor ECM wouldn't order the part unless she paid an additional dollars She paid, it took more than a week for the part to come in, and the next "repairman" said it wasn't the compressorI am still waiting for proof that she is being credited for the It has been two days since the "new part" was ordered with no estimated time of delivery The office staff, *** (customer service manager), *** (service parts) do not return calls as promised They blame everything on Kenmore but won't give me a purchase order number so I can verify the parts have been orderedTheir repairmen do not have a clue what they are doing!

ECM baited and switched me, and then blamed ME for being percent disabled VETERAN! Before my contract expired, I called to ask about a service on one of my appliances, and I was eventually transferred to renewalsAt renewals, they tried to convince me to stay, and the lady on the phone told me that because I'd used them multiple times that year, they'd have to charge me a fee for every visitShe told me the per-visit charge would be $I didn't like it, but I ended up agreeing to it and renewed with the lady right on the phone, and paid in fullFast forward to now: one of my a/c units wasn't functioning, and ECM tells me it's going to be $to come outWhen I called to speak to someone about the difference in price, they told me that the renewal lady was "mistaken," and the $price was written in a contract they sent me before I renewedI told them that I was a 100% disabled veteran and I had been bedridden for the past month, just had back surgery and was currently recovering, and all I knew was that the person helping me renew on the phone told me $The lady *** I was speaking to then informed me that I need to take responsibility for not getting up and reading my mailYesI'm sorry, ECM! I'm sorry for being a disabled veteran and trusting your employees

These people are crooksThey come to your house when you air conditioning unit is broken or not working properly Three standard lines they use

I had a new AC installed and the 2 men where so polite, neat, and very knowledgable. They arrived on time and completed the job sooner than expected. I highly recommend ECM.

I would like to submit a new review on ECM. After a negative experience yesterday, I was contacted this morning by Melinda who apologized for what had happened and askied how it could be corrected. They sent a tech out today. He arrived on time, and completed the repairs quickly. Kudos to ECM for caring enough to reach out and re-establish my confidence in them.

I have been a customer of ECM for many years and would never be without this service. They are prompt in their attention to matters and their technicians are by far best. The technicians are knowledgeable and very customer focused. I always know that no matter what the issue is ECM will make it a priority. I highly recommend ECM.

Having used East Coast Mechanical (ECM) for installation and then servicing of my air conditioner in Boynton Beach, Florida over the years, I was glad to learn recently they provide service in the Fort Lauderdale area. I purchased a condo five years back and decided after dealing with local repair companies and another service provider of maintenance contracts it was time to see if ECM was an option once again. From the moment I made contact they have been professional and customer service focused. [redacted] explained all my options and ensured I clearly understood the service agreement I was purchasing. While hoping I do not need to call them for an appliance or air conditioning failure, I know they are there ready to provide a prompt response. It is reassuring to have coverage with ECM.

This service warranty company has some serious customer service issues, Their customer care supervisor " [redacted] " who wouldn't give me his last name is very rude and arrogant, I was waiting a week for a price quote which I never received, after questioning him, he told me they called a left message, there was no message, he then proceeded to give me a quote for parts 3x what I was able to purchase on my own as I researched part myself, when I questioned him he got loud, spoke over me and pretty much said " this is our price , take it or leave it " I asked him why it was so much when I could buy it cheaper and he had no response, the tech that came out was rude and " cocky " the previous tech's that came out ruined my stove top , and after numerous attempts I finally got it replaced, I asked " [redacted] " to talk with another supervisor and he refused to transfer me to anyone else. I personally worked for one of their rivals for 10 years and if I ever talked or treated a customer the way I was treated I would have been let go with no questions asked. Though it all I still remained a loyal customer, until now, I will not renew again. I hope the owner see's this, but like his employees, i'm sure he could care less, I hope I'm wrong !!!

I had a service contract with ECM and requested a plumber to install a faucet. It was not done properly. My wife pointed out a leak and the ECM plumber insulted her. It still leaks to this day.
Prior to this they called to ask if we were interested in an Interior A/C unit that did not fit into another condo so we could purchase at cost. We bought the unit. Serveral years later we needed to replace the roof unit, but now the special deal we installed was not compatible with new system and had to purchase a complete system. Got sold a new A/C for $3500...could have shopped around for less than $3000. Not happy with the heating in the winter. Now that the unit is under warranty needed a drain, I was charged a labor fee. That was $188. for one hour. A call to question the fee was told it is Overhead. You guys can't even fix a leak. Never again. I rate the company D Minus. Boss man not care!!!

I don't believe that there are many air conditioner repair businesses that would come out to repair my air conditioner problem, on one of the hottest days of the year, within two hours of my call. I am happy to recommend ECM to the people of south Florida for reliable, fair, and knowledgable resources from this company.
