Great service!

While I have not yet had any work done by George Brazil I have met with a couple of their people for estimates on work I need to have done. I am super impressed with the both Mark B (electrician) and Cole (plumber) and the knowledge they bring to the table. They helped us understand exactly what we need done, and how their company will provide us the best service. I am convinced.

Some may think it is a bit early to be singing their praises but the truth is that after dealing with so many companies that are slow to respond or whose technicians don’t seem to be able or willing to really explain the work they will be performing, it was a breath of fresh air to work with these guys.

I can always provide a new review once the work is done :)

Choosing George Brazil for our air conditioning, electrical, & plumbing needs was one of the best choices we've ever made. George Brazil's representatives are always very friendly and professional.
Today we had the pleasure of being served by Ernesto J[redacted], plumbing technician, who installed a new water heater. Ernesto carries on the fine tradition of George Brazil helpfulness and professionalism. Ernesto is a superb representative for the high quality that George Brazil Services always provides.

My thanks to George Brazil plumber Darrel R in Phoenix, AZ. Provided me an estimate for sewer pipe repair & held to it. Ran into unexpected electrical issue. Called someone from Gearge Brazil electrical division to correct problem before continuing to find & repair cracked sewer pipe. Caused him to work extra hours. Worked from 8 AM till 7 PM. Was determined to finish the repair in one day in near 100 degree heat despite the unexpected electrical wire problem. A good man to represent George Brazil for positive satisfaction. Quick, efficient service with particular attention to neatness at the work site. Ernesto

served as the plumber at my house explaining to me each step of the way as he

successfully unpluged a kitchen sink. This company has served as my plumber for a number of years. I keep returning to them as I can count on them to arrive on time, search out the problem and solve the problem.

I cannot believe the level of gracious customer service displayed by Elijah O with George Brazil. Our whole house lost power and it was determined to be the breaker, which needed to be completely replaced. He explained in a way we could understand what was wrong, and showed us our options. We didn't go with the most expensive choice, and he didn't hassle us on it. He made us feel confident in the choice we made and explained perfectly how it would resolve our challenge. He was here for nearly 6 hours but always had a smile on his face, and worked hard and efficiently to fix the problem. I'll never need to call anyone else out there, because Elijah and George Brazil really can fix it all!

Review: I contacted the company to have a broken water heater replaced. The Technician gave my wife a written contract to replace the water heater for a charge of $972.14 plus tax. The document specifically states: "I hereby authorize you to proceed with the above work at the price of $972.14". While the tech was installing the new heater he continually attempted to get my wife to agree to additional parts and or services. Although the quoted price included a pan, the tech tried to convince my wife to add a drain hole and line for an additional $100.00. She declined and advised the tech that she just wanted the heater as specified in the contract. After the work was complete the tech claimed that he had to add some wiring and that work increased the charge by, you guessed it, $100.00. When she asked why she hadn't been advised of this before he went ahead and did the work he stated; "yeah I should have told you". He offered to lower the charge by $35.00 implying that if she did not agree he would remove the cord and leave her with a heater that wouldn't be able to heat.Desired Settlement: Probably not much that anyone can accomplish. When the company called on the 7th to conduct a coustomer satisfaction survey and my wife expressed her dissatisfaction she was told they would call back later that evening. That was the last we heard from them, it appears that they have their money and they really don't care about how we were treated. I assure you I will never do business with them again and I will warn others to avoid them as well.

I also talked with my technician about the job that he had done for the [redacted] and asked manyquestions which proved that we need to give our technician some follow up training on “upfront” pricing. When I called Mr. [redacted] I explained that I would be giving him back $100 No questions asked. I also stated that we would be counseling our technician and in no way this was our regular practice. I talked with Mr. [redacted] about the training that we obviously failed to give to our tech and that we take this very serious. I asked him if this was acceptable and he agreed that it was and he would possibly consider using our services in the future.In reviewing this complaint and after the counseling with our technician I feel that we have reached a point where our technician will never give a price upfront again and add more to the bill when the job is complete.We strive to provide the best service possible to everyone in the valley and do whatever it takes to make sure that our clients feel that they received the best service.Sincerely,[redacted]General ManagerGeorge Brazil Plumbing

Do not. I repeat. Do not use George Brazil for plumbing or electrical. This outfit is a complete scam. They overcharge for everything they do. As mention before in other reviews everything they troubleshoot is a $300 bill. We had 2 ground fault outlets replaced. They charged us $180 per outlet plus labor for a part that costs $20 each. When my wife questioned them about the cost of the part they gave her some bulls$&@ story about their electrical outlet being superior. I wished at that point she had just kicked the technician out. I will never let this outfit back in our home again. Unfortunately we have a new plumbing service contract with them as well that I have to walk away from. I'm writing this review hoping that other consumers don't get screwed like us.

I have been a customer for 2+ years and [redacted] has been the HVAC technician on my account. Always 100% satisfied with the work, promptness and knowledge of [redacted]. Very happy to recommend George Brazil Services.

The technician was very professional and friendly.

Service was timely and professional. Cole took the time to answer my questions. The installation was first rate.

Technician sent was Mr. Cole T. Young man was very knowledgeable, courteous and affable. Started work at 1620 and ended a 2030 all by himself as no one else was sent to assist him. Did an excellent work and was very clear in all his explanations of job performance and costs. Definitely a pleasure to deal with and an excellent company representative. Kudos!

Tony V. did a super job in hanging a kitchen light fixture for me. He arrived on stated time and recommended the best way to hang the light from the ceiling. It looks super! Tony knows what he's doing, is very knowledgeable regarding electrical installations, and was a pleasure to talk with. I will ask for him for my next electrical project.

Outstanding service from [redacted]
I have been in customer service for many years with global companies where customer service has continually been of utmost importance and always expected! Unfortunately, too many companies have sacrificed these requirements. My experience with George Brazil’s company completely restored my confidence in great employees who cared about their customers.
I recently needed some electrical service work completed and contacted George Brazil. [redacted] was assigned to assist me with the issue and I could not have been more pleased! What an absolute delight to work with [redacted]! He was so friendly, confident, enthusiastic, and his knowledge was impeccable. He spoke so highly of the company he works for, he was an excellent listener, accountable, responsible, polite and courteous, and was patient in explaining everything that needed to do be done. He left “no stone unturned,” completely cleaning up everything when he finished and reviewing everything he had done with me, even after staying late to complete the installation.
[redacted] is the epitome of a stellar employee, and truly an asset and “voice” for George Brazil. He should be the standard by which all others are hired! Please commend [redacted] for the outstanding work he did on this project!

I want to commend [redacted] from your company who was [redacted]’s excellent secondary resource. [redacted] introduced [redacted] and immediately we were pleased with his politeness, courtesy, and happy demeanor. He always had a smile on his face. He was very thorough and also explained things well. Even when he did some rework on a ceiling fan, he remained calm and did his job with patience and professionalism. He was going out of town the next day but willingly worked late to ensure our installation was completed that day without any complaint. He was easy to talk with, worked efficiently and quickly, and was a pleasure to have in our home.
[redacted] is another excellent employee, exemplifying the quality of employees you have. He was wonderful! Please express my appreciation to [redacted] for his exemplary work on our electrical projects.

My first experience with George Brazil was to purchase a new air conditioner. The associates on the phone were friendly and sent out an agent to explain all the details, cost and time involved with installing a new air conditioner. I am very pleased with the air conditioner and the company. I just had a new faucet installed in my bathroom tub. It was so corroded that I couldn't get it off, neither could my husband. We didn't want to do more damage than needed so we called George Brazil again. 2n time same associates were great and associate who installed it was friendly and informative. We ended up getting a product that descales the water before getting attached to our pipes there fore NO MORE CALICUM BUILD UP VERY VERY HAPPY

I had Cole T come out for what was to be a simple swap out of a kitchen faucet. It turned out to be a swap of the faucet and replace all inside under the counter hardware along with a new garbage disposal. Cole explained every repair that needed to be made before he made the changes. I now have a new faucet and a new disposal that should last me a long time.
