Initially I was impressed with the ease of making an appointment and A#! Air's customer service, but I was most disappointed by their service and billing practices. I was quoted that the service call would cost $99, which was agreed to when making the appointment. The serviceman arrived on-time, diagnosed the problem and made the repair of a bad capacitor on outside central air unit. I was presented with a bill for $391. Turns out that I was charged for a $99 service call plus labor and material to replace the bad capacitor. Seems like I was charged twice for labor and a premium for the part, which the serviceman didn't deny when he left 30 minutes after arriving. I was contacted the next day by A#1 Air to survey my pleasure with the repair and after giving a negative review, I have not heard back from the company in the week since the repair.

Excellent Service and I like the semi-annual maintenance service.

All of our dealings with A#1 Air have been positive and affirming. The staff is professional, courteous and in every way helpful. We highly recommend A#1 Air for anyone seeking excellent installation and timely service.

I had an air conditioning and gas furnace system completely replaced. The 4 man team from A#1 Air were extremely professional and pleasant. I am completely satisfied with the high degree of knowledge and expertise displayed during the install.
The entire team took the extra time to discuss the new system and assist with some of the technology. A#1 Air hires excellent employees.

I've been a customer of A#1 for six years, since they installed my heat pump unit. I've read the other reviews with complaints about delays in service appointments (mine was delayed two or three times over a month because of emergency customers), higher prices than other companies, and slow responses, and I agree with some of them. BUT ... Air conditioner went out on Wednesday evening. I called them about 7:15 p.m. and they had a repairman here by 10:30 p.m. who determined the motor was ruined and would have to be ordered. I was not happy to wait for the motor to arrive. After a few phone calls to get my point across, by Thursday afternoon I got a call from A#1 that the motor had arrived. It was installed that evening by a courteous and patient young man who listened to all my questions. Was the price high? Yes, but for this kind of excellent service, it is well worth it.

A #1 Air provided an annual inspection of my heating system in a professional manner.

They were great! They gave me a realistic estimate of when I would receive phone calls prior to my service call. They were able to come to my home the same day!! The service person was professional, courteous and honest. The AC condensor was in lock out mode, once the AC ran he check it out throughly and found no other problem. I was only charged for the service call!! And my AC is still fine the next day!!

The BEST company EVER!!! From the service call to the final payment.... everyone is very professional, efficient and polite. They came to help on a Thursday night at 8:30pm!! So nice to know there is such a dependable company out there
