Jim Sorensen's Piano Tuning

Jim has been tuning my piano since 2009. I am very satisfied with his service. He always lets me know each year when it's time for tuning and then he sets a date which works for me and is always prompt. The piano sounds great after he finishes and he always plays a tune at the end which I greatly enjoy.

It was truly a pleasure working with Jim. We have a very old Steinway, and Jim diagnosed and treated all that was needed! He was prompt, very clear in his communication both before and during the tuning and adjustment...there were no surprises. He clearly loves what he does and his expertise shows.

It's been over a decade since our piano has been tuned, and I wanted it ready for playing a few jingles during this holiday season. I emailed Jim inquiring about his piano tuning services. I got a response almost immediately and set up an appointment within the week. He was very friendly and professional, and the tuning didn't take very long. After tuning, he played a beautiful piece to test the pitch which was a nice treat. For such an affordable price, I will definitely be calling Jim again for my future piano tuning needs.

Some years ago, I was told my piano needed a complete rebuild, which would have been very costly. After working with our piano, Jim assured me that we didn't need to spend the extra money on a rebuild and that our piano was in very good condition for its age.

I felt that Jim's service rates were very reasonable, especially when other piano repairmen had quoted a "trip rate" on top of the cost of the work, just for driving down to Casa Grande.

I will definitely be calling Jim again next time our piano needs tuning.

Jim was super pleasant to deal with from my first call all the way to the end of our tuning appointment. We run a busy household so it was nice to work with someone that understands timeliness and promptness.

He gave great feedback on our piano purchase and played us a quick tune at the end to show off the superb sound that he created out of our vintage find!

We will refer Jim to all of our friends and gladly use his services for future piano tuning needs.

Excellent Piano tuning. Jim uses his keen ear and perfect pitch to tune. Jim has extensive knowledge of piano's and what it takes to keep them in perfect working condition.

I hired Jim to tune an eighty year old upright oak piano. He was able to raise the pitch and fine tune it in a couple of hours. He was courteous and knew his business. My wife and I are very satisfied.
